- Walmart Drive-In Theater Pop-Up in Spring | Friday and Saturday | FREE – Reserve your spot to catch film screenings of Men in Black: International and Wonder Woman in the Walmart parking lot on Kuykendahl Road in Spring. Advance RSVP required. 7:30pm both nights.
- Sugar Land Skeeters: League Competitions Games at Constellation Field | Daily – See the Skeeters fend off professional teams at a local tournament that also features the Sugar Land Lightening Sloths, Team Texas, and Eastern Reyes del Tigre at socially distanced ballgames throughout the weekend. - Houston Restaurant Weeks 2020 Around Greater Houston | Daily – Houston’s beloved charity dining event continues with new takeout options and plenty of multi-course, fixed-price menus at almost 200 establishments around Greater Houston. For every meal sold, $1 will be donated to Houston Food Bank. $20 lunches and brunches; $35 or $45 for dinners.
- Mohammad Ali Bhatti’s Roots to Revolution exhibition at Archway Gallery | Friday to Sunday | FREE – Get a look at Archway’s August exhibit from Mohammad Ali Bhatti that touches on themes inspired by Bhatti’s interests in mysticism, people, our current social issues and more. - Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Western Conference Quarterfinals Game 2 on ESPN – The NBA playoffs carry on in the Disney World bubble, where James Harden faces his ex-teammate Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder in a best-of-seven series. 2:30pm.

- Bars Across Houston Patio Pop-Up Series at Lucille’s – With bars across Houston closed up to patrons, a weekly series launched by Chef Chris Williams, of Museum District eatery Lucille’s, is a great way to support local mainstays and find new favorites. Folks can hit their Patio Pop-Up series where each Thursday, bar teams from across Houston will take over the patio for a full evening of service and collect 100-percent of the sales and tips generated by their curated cocktails. - Houston Dynamo vs. FC Dallas: Live from BBVA Stadium | FREE – Hold it down for H-Town when the Dynamo take the field for their first home match since pausing the season in March. They’ll face their rivals from up north, FC Dallas, in a no-fans match at BBVA Stadium. The game will be broadcast on QuestTEXAS channel 55. 7pm.
- Insomnia Gallery presents Summer Slashers: Online Horror Art Show on Youtube | FREE – Featuring original works by local artists, Summer Slashers is an online-only art show with works inspired by many of pop culture’s stone cold killers. Artwork on view can be purchased, with proceeds supporting participating artists, as well as the gallery. 7pm to 10pm.
- Letsdothishouston presents Da Baby & Lil Baby Night Light Bike Ride – Cruise the city streets on a beginner-level biking event, featuring LED bikes and a playlist dedicated to hip-hop artists Da Baby and Lil Baby, as you travel to select destinations in Downtown and the Museum District. $27.60 to rent an LED bike; $11.37 if you bring your own bike. 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
- Drive-In Movie Screening of Relic at Shady Acres Saloon – Catch a film screening of Relic, a slow-burning horror flick that chronicles Kay and her mother’s increasingly volatile behavior, which may be linked to an evil presence at their family’s country home. $30 per vehicle. 7:30pm and 9:55pm.
- Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy Movie Screening at City Acre Brewing Co. | FREE with RSVP – City Acre Brewing Co. hosts an outdoor socially distanced movie screening of the hilarious 2004 movie statting Will Ferrell, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. They will also be offering the themed cocktail special, Scotch Ale and a Scotchy Scotch ButterScotch. 8pm to 10pm.
- Orange Show Drive-In: Rushmore Movie Screening at Orange Show Center for Visionary Art – Laugh your way into the weekend while catching a drive-in screening of Wes Anderson’s 1993 kitschy film Rushmore, shot here in Houston and starring Jason Schwartzman as wide-eyed teenager Max Fischer who befriends a rich industrialist named Herman Blume (Bill Murray). In addition to the film, Arnaldo Richards’ Pico’s will be on-site serving food for purchase. $30 per vehicle. 8pm.
- McGonigel’s Mucky Duck presents Jeff Daniels Online & Unplugged | FREE – Enjoy an intimate, online-only performance from Emmy award-winning actor and singer-songwriter Jeff Daniels in a set filled with original songs, personal stories and an audience Q&A following the show. $15. 8pm to 9:30pm.
