- Urban Harvest Farmers Market on Buffalo Speedway | No Cover – Houston’s mainstay farmers market continues, along with drive-thru service for guests who place orders in advance, with fresh options and craft goods from more than 70 local vendors and food producers. 8am to 12:30pm.
- Weekly Saturday Farm Stand: Covid 19-Drive By or Pick-up at Hope Farms HTX in Sunnyside | No Cover – Swing through the southeast side of town for a farmers market brimming with freshly harvested produce and more goods. 9am to noon.
- Farmers Market at Imperial in Sugar Land | No Cover – Pick up freshly-harvested fruits and vegetables, baked goods and more from area farmers and artisans at this Sugar Land farmers market. Food trucks will be on hand for quick bites. 9am to 1pm.
- Sound Healing Meditation in the Cistern at Buffalo Bayou Park – Relax and meditate in a socially-distanced environment inside the massive Buffalo Bayou Cistern. Featuring wind chimes and singing bowls, guests can work towards inner-peace while within the echoing depths of one of our city’s most beloved hidden gems. $15. 9am to 9:45am
- Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents Upcycled Wind Chimes on Zoom – Outfit your home with a DIY recycled creation using supplies from your home and the Houston Arboretum when they teach viewers how to make wind chimes from aluminum cans in a virtual art class. Tickets are $35 for non-members; $20 for members. 10am to noon.
- HTX Market at Spindletap Brewery | No Cover – Shop local with artisan goods, beers to-go and more when the HTX Market hits the Spindletap Brewery at this in-person vendor market. 1pm to 6pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Western Conference Quarterfinals Game 3 on ESPN – The NBA playoffs carry on in the Disney World bubble, where James Harden faces his ex-teammate Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder in a best-of-seven series. 5pm.
- Drive-In Movie Screening of High Fidelity at Shady Acres Saloon – Catch a drive-in film screening of the biting romantic comedy and cult-classic about a record store owner (John Cusack) who revisits past relationships to find out what went wrong. $30 per vehicle. 7:15pm and 10:15pm.
- Houston Symphony Live from Jones Hall: Mozart & Mazzoli | FREE – Dive into a virtual performance that features the innovative and seminal work of Pulitzer Prize award-winning African-American composer George Walker. Hear Walker’s powerful “Lyric for Strings”, as well as Mozart’s “Oboe Quartet in F Major” and other works. Tickets are $10. 8pm.
- Orange Show Drive-In: Dazed and Confused Movie Screening at Orange Show Center for Visionary Art – Check out a socially-distanced drive-in screening of the Texas-shot stoner comedy from Richard Linklater that follows a group of rowdy teenagers living out their last day of high school. This film is Rated R. In addition to the film, Arnaldo Richards’ Pico’s will be on-site serving food for purchase. $30 per vehicle. 8pm to 10:30pm.
- Summer Movie Nights: Disney’s The Lion King Movie Screening at Redemption Square | FREE – Catch a socially distanced screening of Disney’s computer-animated The Lion King (2019) remake that follows lion cub Simba as he grows into his role as the rightful king of his native land, with the help of his jungle friends. 8pm.

Orange Show Drive-In: Boyz N the Hood Movie Screening at Orange Show Center for Visionary Art – Get your drive-in movie fix in a uniquely Houston location at the legendary, folk-art filled Orange Show Center. Guests can enjoy a screening of the 1991 R-rated coming-of-age film, Boyz N the Hood, which stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as Tre, a young man sent to live with his father in a tough part of South Los Angeles. In addition to the film, you can munch on Arnaldo Richards’ Pico’s, who will be on-site serving food for purchase. $30 per vehicle. 8pm to 10:30pm.
