- MoonGARDEN at Discovery Green | Daily through Sunday, October 7 – Marvel at 22 illuminated spheres located in and around Discovery Green, transforming the area into an ethereal moonscape at the art installation, MoonGARDEN There are free, special events throughout the week. The exhibition is open to the public through Sunday, October 7, 2018. Dusk to midnight nightly.
- Dashboard Confessional, with All Time Low, in Concert at Revention Music Center | Monday, October 1 | CANCELED – Jam out to all of your favorite hits from back in the day, plus newer songs from their latest album, when emo band Dashboard Confessional brings their heartfelt ballads to Houston’s Revention Music Center. All Time Low and Gnash will open the show. Tickets start at $36. Update 10/1/18: This show has been cancelled due to Dashboard frontman Chris Carrabba’s family emergency. During the stroll, you can view and shop thousands of pieces of artwork from more than 350 local artists, while enjoying live music, light bites, and drinks at each building. 4pm to 9pm.
- Houston Margarita Festival at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park | Saturday, October 6 – Some of the Houston’s most inventive mixologists are going head-to-head to craft the best signature margaritas.
