- Disturbed, with Three Days Grace at Toyota Center | Monday, January 28 – The nu-metal group reformed in 2015 after a four-year hiatus and have just released their seventh studio album, Evolution, which reached number four on the Billboard 200 charts. - Walker Hayes at House of Blues | Thursday, January 31 – The country singer-songwriter out of Mobile, Alabama made his splash in 2017 with his acclaimed second studio album, Boom. Most recently, his summer 2018 single, “90’s Country”, brought fans a nostalgic dose of popular country references and lyrics. Tickets are $20. 7pm.
- Joan Osborne at The Heights Theater | Friday, February 1 – When not crooning for the blues group Trigger Hippie, Joan Osborne brings her sultry, velvety voice in other directions including her 2017 release of covers, Songs of Bob Dylan. She performs cuts from that no-nonsense release, with special guest Sherita Perez. Tickets range from $24 to $38. 8pm.
- Eric Johnson Electric Band at House of Blues | Friday, February 1 – One of the most respected guitarists in the world, Eric Johnson dabbles in just about every genre with virtuoso-level proficiency. Known for his Grammy-winning single, “Cliffs of Dover”, Eric Johnson and his Electric Band tour through Houston with tickets ranging from $25 to $59.50, but you may find better or cheaper seats on the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
- Rachael Yamagata at White Oak Music Hall | Friday, February 1 – A solo singer-songwriter since 2001, Yamagata has crafted songs that are at times intimate, sad, warm, and dark. Her fourth studio album, Tightrope Walker, brought many of these traits to the forefront and was praised for Yamagata’s songwriting ability. Tickets are $20. 8pm.
- Like A Storm, with Royal Tusk, Afterlife at House of Blues | Saturday, February 2 – The New Zealand hard rock group are known for incorporating a wide variety of instruments – including didgeridoo, church organ, and djembe. Their unique style of music is heralded by fans around the world. Tickets to their Downtown show are $13. 6pm.
- Peter Murphy with David J at White Oak Music Hall | Saturday, February 2 – One-time vocalist for English post-punk band, Bauhaus, Peter Murphy reunites with bassist David J for a celebration for the 40th anniversary of the beloved rock group. Tickets range from $35 to $200 for a VIP package. 8pm.
- Rebelution, with Iya Terra at Revention Music Center | Saturday, February 2 – Entering their 15th year, the reggae-rock group Rebelution has seen global success and garnered impressive followings from festival performances and mainstream radio play. Tickets for their stop at Revention Music Center start at $29.50, but you may find better or cheaper seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
- Disney’s D’Cappella at Smart Financial Centre | Saturday, February 2 – Composed of seven world-class vocalists, D’Cappella brings modern acappella takes on classic Disney hits for a family-friendly concert experience. - William Fitzsimmons at The Continental Club | Sunday, February 3 – The indie-folk singer-songwriter has offered up personal, sometimes heartbreakingly painful songs on his most recent album, Mission Bell. Now, Fitzsimmons plays to fans at the equally intimate Continental Club in Midtown. Tickets start at $20. 7pm.
