- Houston World Series of Dog Shows | Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 22 – Come, sit, and stay at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows, where more than 150 different breeds will compete in a variety of competitions throughout the week, ending with the “Best in Show” award. Events include flyball, creative grooming, a frisbee exhibition, and canine musical freestyle, where dogs perform a choreographed dance alongside their handler. - Beefsteak Luncheon at B&B Butchers & Restaurant | Saturday, July 21 – Ditch the plates, utensils, and napkins for this formal, beef-centric feast, based on a New York tradition that dates back to the mid 19th Century. B&B Butchers will serve up fries with truffle aioli, beef tenderloin, Parker House rolls, mac and cheese balls, meatballs, and carpetbagger, accompanied by live music, a silent auction, and a raffle. $95.
