- Katy Perry with Carly Rae Jepsen at Toyota Center | Sunday, January 7 – One of the highest-selling artists of all time visits Houston on her Witness tour in support of her new album, released this past summer. Along with Carly Rae Jepsen, known for her “Call Me Maybe” single, the duo light up Toyota Center to kick off the year. Ticket range from $50 to over $200 but you may find cheaper or better seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
- Black Label Society and Corrosion of Conformity at House of Blues | Monday, January 15 – With nine studio albums under their belt, the Zakk Wylde-led heavy metal band swings through Houston just a few days before the release of their newest album, Grimmest Hits. - The Moody Blues at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land | Wednesday, January 17 – Pioneers in the progressive rock genre, the English rock band has been touring for over fifty years and makes a stop in Sugar Land this month. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of their landmark Days of Future Passed album, the Moody Blues promise a night of their greatest hits and a full playthrough of the iconic album. - Loretta Lynn at Arena Theater | Friday, January 19 – With a career spanning nearly six decades, Loretta Lynn has solidified herself as a Queen of Country and continues to tour her extensive Gold-certified song catalog. The highly decorated singer tours through Houston this month ahead of her upcoming release, Wouldn’t It Be Great. Tickets start at $90 for remaining seats but cheaper or better seats might be available using the TicketNetwork online resale market. 8pm.
- Pinback at White Oak Music Hall | Friday, January 19 – The longtime indie rockers bring their clean sound and new songs to town at White Oak Music Hall. The band behind Autumn of the Seraphs and Blue Screen Life have been on tour, sharing their best songs that have helped make them an underground indie favorite. Tickets are $18 in advance; $22 day of the show. 8pm.
- Aimee Mann at The Heights Theater | Saturday, January 20 – One of the top singer-songwriters in rock history, Aimee Mann stops by for an intimate performance in The Heights Theater as she tours her most recent album, Mental Illness. Tickets start at $28. 8pm.
- Marilyn Manson at House of Blues | Wednesday, January 24 – The controversial rocker continues to tour after more than 20 years of releasing albums, including his most recent this past October, Heaven Upside Down. Tickets range from $59.50 to $100 but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-find seats on the TicketNetwork marketplace. 8pm.
- Shakira at Toyota Center | Friday, January 26 – On the heels of releasing El Dorado, the multi-Grammy winning artist finally lands in Houston as part of her world tour. Tickets start at $50.50, but you may be able to find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 7:30pm.
- The Killers at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land | Friday, January 26 – Following a five-year break after The Killers rose to become one of the biggest bands in pop music during the 2000’s, the group has returned to tour a new album, Wonderful Wonderful. Tickets start at $29.50 and range to $89.50, but you may be able to find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale website. 8pm.
