With each team taking the honors in the last two years, this matchup promises to carry bragging rights and a shot at a bowl game for the team that comes out on top. - Houston Texans vs. San Francisco 49ers at NRG Stadium | Sunday, December 10 – It’s been another rough season for the Texans, plagued by season-ending injuries to their defensive star JJ Watt and promising young quarterback, DeShaun Watson. Even so, the Texans still aim to compete every week and their matchup against the faulting 49ers might offer a chance for fans to pick their heads up. - Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers | Friday, December 22 – Chris Paul hosts his former team just before Christmas. Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and ex-Rocket Patrick Beverley visit a Rockets team that is high-flying in the Western Conference.
