  • Houston Restaurant Weeks 2024 in Greater Houston | Daily | Ongoing – Benefiting Houston Food Bank, the Houston event rolls on for its 21st year, with a month of multi-course, prix-fixe menus for brunch, lunch and dinner at nearly 400 restaurants across the Greater Houston area, from The Woodlands and Katy to Sugar Land and beyond. $25 for brunch and lunch menus; $39 or $55 for dinners.
  • Broadway Across America presents Funny Girl at Hobby Center | Tuesday to Sunday – With one of the most iconic scores of all time by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill, plus an updated book from Harvey Fierstein based on the original classic by Isobel Lennart, this musical tells the story of the legendary Fanny Brice, who rose from the Lower East Side of New York to stardom. Featuring songs like “Don’t Rain on My Parade” and “People,” it’s a show beloved the world over for decades. $35 and up. Showtimes vary.
  • Ice House Radio at Brasil | Wednesday to Friday | FREE – Close out the week with three straight nights of live radio broadcasts from a deep roster of Houston DJs spinning their favorites on the back patio of Brasil in Montrose. 7pm to 11pm.
  • Jeremiah Watkins at The Riot Comedy Club | Friday & Saturday – The comic comes to The Riot for three shows across back-to-back nights, delivering laughs with a signature style seen in specials like Family Reunion and Daddy. $25 and up. Times vary.
  • Performing Arts Houston presents 5th Annual Mariachi Festival at Wortham Center | Friday to Sunday – Celebrate the creativity and enduring legacy of Mariachi music and Hispanic culture as this popular festival brings some of the biggest names in the genre to Houston, including Mariachi Mariposas, Mariachi 7 Leguas, and others from Houston and Mexico. $19 and up. Friday and Saturday 7pm; Sunday 3pm.
  • 6th Edition Frida Lovers in Old Town Harrisburg | Saturday & Sunday | FREE – Celebrate the work and legacy of iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo with Frida-inspired activities all weekend. It’s an opportunity to understand her legacy and learn about her work in a fun environment. Times vary.

  • Out Of The Strong, Something Sweet Opening Reception at The Jung Center of Houston | FREE – DJ Morrow, a Houston-based balloon twister–turned–fine artist, who uses intricately detailed balloon sculptures to create dark imagery heavily laden with symbolism, presents Out Of The Strong, Something Sweet at The Jung Center of Houston. 3pm to 6pm.
  • The Successful Show at The Secret Group – Whether you’re a seasoned go-getter or someone familiar with the bumpy road to success, this show guarantees an evening of shared laughter and cathartic release. Hosted by Bob Morrissey, Cody Greenlee, and Emily Peacock, The Succesful Show will feature many comedians at The Secret Group. $5. 8pm to 10pm.

  • Cline Cellars Dinner at The Lymbar – Enjoy a five-course dinner created by Lymbar chef and owner David Cordua, each paired with a different wine from Cline Cellars, one of Sonoma’s most-celebrated wineries.   • Comedian Sam Jay at Houston Improv – The Emmy-nominated Saturday Night Live writer and comedian known for her recent Peacock series, Bust Down, Sam Jay churns out the laughs at the West Houston comedy club. $80 for 4, and up. 7:30pm.
  • Future & Metro Boomin in Concert at Toyota Center – Future and the Grammy-nominated producer Metro Boomin keep the summer hot when they bring music from their recent collab to H-Town on the We Trust You Tour. $49 and up. 8pm.
  • Comedian Billy Wayne Davis at The Secret Group – A finalist on Last Comic Standing, and seen on specials like Comedy Central’s Tales From the Trip, the Tennessee comedian swings through EaDo for a one night–only set. $15 and up. 8pm.
  • Danny Avila DJ Set at Stereo Live – The Spanish house and electro-house DJ with singles like “Cream” and “Too Good to Be True” comes to Houston to help you groove the night away. $19.99. 8pm.

  • Artisan Ravioli Making at Spindle Tap Brewery – Tap into your inner chef as you craft delicious stuffed pasta. You’ll learn tricks of the trade as you make a creamy spinach and tomato Tuscan sauce. When you’re finished, stay for a brew. $50. 6:30pm.
  • Backside: A Skateboard Art Show at Hardy & Nance Studios | FREE – Dozens of Houston artists will design over 100 skateboards, and you can watch. This is a chance to watch art happen in real time, and see myriad expressions of creativity. 7pm.
  • Rare Rioja Dinner at Guard & Grace – The upscale, Downtown restaurant hosts this evening of beautiful Spanish wines. It’s an opportunity to sample some of the rarest and best examples of Spanish winemaking, along with a five-course dinner crafted by the restaurant’s chefs. $295. 7pm.
  • Justin Ross & Deadwood Revival in Concert at Goode Company Armadillo Palace – The rock act out of Fort Worth, with a sound that meshes Rock, Pop, Country, Delta Blues, Funk and more comes to Houston to perform live. $15 and up. 8pm.
  • Junior H in Concert at Toyota Center – The Mexican singer-songwriter crafts his own brand of corridos tumbados by blending corridos with trap music, and will bring that and more to the stage with his new album, Sad Boyz 4 Life II. $59 and up. 8pm. 
  • Phat Cat Swinger & the Wonderful World of Swing at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – Come out to Hermann Park to enjoy 90 minutes of original arrangements of Disney music. Expect swing, cha cha, and mambo to classics like “Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio, “Be Prepared” from The Lion King, “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, “Bella Notte” from Lady and the Tramp, and more. 8:30pm.

  • Chris Stapleton in Concert at Minute Maid Park – The All-American Road Show rolls through Houston when country superstar Chris Stapleton brings Miranda Lambert & Grace Potter to the juicebox for a night of country music magic. $44.95 and up. 6pm.
  • Hidden Gems Country Music Fest at 8th Wonder | No Cover – This evening of music from up-and-coming Texas country music stars Mason Lively and Dustin De La Garza takes place under the stars in the brewery biergarten. Be among the first to hear these stars of tomorrow. 6pm to 10pm.
  • TisaKorean in Concert at House of Blues – The Houston rapper and producer hits the House of Blues with special guests while on a week-long tour that spans the country. $13 and up. 7pm.
  • A Little Help From My Friends: Night Swim at Space Cowboy – This laser pool party at Near Northside’s Heights House Hotel benefits a designated charity. Expect live DJs and performances throughout the night. Cover at the door. 7pm.
  • RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Live at 713 Music Hall – This summer show brings some of the biggest fan-favorites of the hit drag competition show to the Houston stage. Expect fabulous performances by Angeria, Gottmilk, Roxxxy Andrews, Vanessa Vanjie and more. $42 and up. 8pm.
  • Apollo Chamber Players presents Mekong Soul at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – This performance of music and dance tells three powerful and multi-sensory stories about life on the Mekong River of Southeast Asia. Told with spoken word and moving images, it’s an approachable exploration of multiple artistic styles. 8:00pm.
  • Hyperpop Hell at The Secret Group – The dance party event plays Charli XCX’s Brat album from front to back, followed by more dancey hits. It’s bound to have you on your feet and moving to the music. $10 and up. 9pm. 
  • Underworld’s Monthly Bash at Numbers Nightclub – Grab your friends and come to Montrose, where you can dance to Goth, Industrial, and more as Underworld celebrates 25 years. A quarter century never sounded so good. $10 and up. 9pm.
  • ARIUS at Warehouse Live Midtown – The married DJ duo, who blend bass music and finger drumming into their songs, come to Houston for a live set. Insomniac called them “compulsively creative.” $15 and up. 10pm.
