In celebration of the British music and fashion icon, tribute concerts and dance nights pop up around the anniversary of Bowie’s death on January 10, to commemorate the Starman’s timeless songs.
David Bowie Tribute Parties & Events Around Houston
- ‘Lectric Eye: A David Bowie Tribute at Rockefeller’s Houston – Rock out to the music of the late great David Bowie with a tribute from ‘Lectric Eye at Rockefeller’s Houston. Radio Duran: A Duran Duran Tribute opens the show. Tickets start at $10. 7pm to 11:30pm.
- BowiElvis Fest at The Continental Club – Now in its eleventh year, the annual celebration of David Bowie and Elvis Presley honors both of the legends, who happen to share the same birthday. Local bands take to multiple stages to perform the hits while guests can also enjoy an outdoor party, live burlesque, face painting, games, a costume contest and more. Tickets are $20. 7pm.
- David Bowie Celebration at Numbers Nightclub – Celebrate the Starman himself, David Bowie, with a full night of his music and videos at Numbers Nightclub in Montrose. $5 before 9pm; cover charge goes up after 9pm. 8pm.
