  • Spring Academy at TopGolf Houston Locations | Monday, March 9 to Wednesday, March 11 – Bring the kiddos out to Topgolf venues across Houston for their Spring Academy, a 3-day event of nonstop family-friendly fun. Children of every skill level will get the opportunity to learn about the great game of golf, taught by golf professionals from Topgolf Coach. From chipping, putting, and full swing, to the rules and etiquette, kids will learn everything they need to know to improve their game. This event is for ages 6 to 12. $119. 9am to noon.
  • The 2020 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Park (Cancelled) | Monday, March 9 through Sunday, March 15 – Rodeo season kicks off on Tuesday, March 3 and extends through Sunday, March 22. Explore the Rodeo grounds filled with carnival rides, games, prize-winning animals, performances and more. In the evenings, you can catch cowboys and cowgirls duke it out in series of rodeo competitions, plus the crowd favorite mutton bustin’. Concert and competition tickets start at $20, but you may find tickets on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. Rodeo grounds are open daily from 8am to 9pm. Rodeo competitions kick off around 6:45pm and are followed by the headliner concert, usually around 9pm.
  • Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort | Monday, March 9 through Sunday, March 15 – Families and friends are welcome to the two-week-long Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort. Located just 30 minutes from Downtown and an hour from Sugar Land, the family-friendly resort destination offers a new lineup of engaging activities and special entertainment to ensure an unmatched Texan getaway. Daily activities include lounging at the lazy river in the waterpark, a magic comedy show by Curt Miller, movies by the pool and more. Prices and times vary per activity; packages are available for purchase.
  • Seaport Spring Break Classes: Sailor’s Knots Figure 8 Bracelets at Texas Seaport Museum | Monday, March 9 – Bring the kiddos to Galveston and join Texas Seaport Museum this March for their Seaport Spring Break workshop series. For the Sailor’s Knots: Figure 8 Bracelets 30-minute class, you will focus on the more decorative knots you see aboard the famed Elissa. Participants will tie their own Figure 8 bracelet to take home. Entry is included with general museum admission. 11:30am.
  • Spring Break: Victorian Fan Making at 1892 Bishops Palace | Monday, March 9 Bring the kiddos to Galveston and join 1892 Bishop’s Palace this March for their Spring Break workshop series. For this workshop, you’ll make your very own Victorian Fan. The project includes all material, but you should bring your own creativity. Each participant will go home with their own personally designed fan. Class sizes are limited. Tickets for entry are included with general museum admission. 11:30am.
  • Spring Break: Juggling Show at Children’s Museum Houston | Monday, March 9 – Head to the Children’s Museum Houston for their Spring Break event, Exciting Juggling Show and watch all the tricks talented jugglers can do. Entry is included with general museum admission. 3pm.
  • Main Street Theater for Youth presents Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat at MATCH | Tuesday, March 10, Wednesday, March 11 and Sunday, March 15 – Main Street Theater for Youth presents Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat at MATCH in Midtown. On a cold, wet day, the Cat in the Hat appears, along with Thing One and Thing Two (bringing mayhem and fun), to take Sally, her brother, and the fish on a madcap adventure. Tickets start at $16. Showtimes vary.
  • Spring Break: Holi Celebration at Children’s Museum Houston | Tuesday, March 10 – Celebrate the beautiful festival of colors, Holi, during Spring Break at Children’s Museum Houston. Enjoy a wonderful Indian dance performance by Silambam Houston, followed by fun interactives inspired by this colorful celebration. Entry is included with general museum admission. 3pm.
  • Children’s Bingo at Levy Park (Cancelled) | Wednesday, March 11 | FREE – Bring the kiddos to Levy Park at the Children’s Pavilion for Bingo. Ages 4 to 12 can enjoy yelling “Bingo!” while they practice their letters and numbers as they earn prizes. Levy Park will provide the Bingo cards, markers, and prizes. 4:30pm.
  • Spring Break: Moana Jr. by Inspiration Stage at Children’s Museum Houston | Thursday, March 12 – Watch the adventures of Disney’s Moana come to life onstage with Inspiration Stage at Children’s Museum Houston. This inspiring Moana Jr. performance features songs from the film and delivers an empowering message of bravery and selflessness. Entry is included with general museum admission. 3pm.
  • Spring Break: Cirque du Soleil at Children’s Museum Houston | Friday, March 13 – The internationally acclaimed Cirque du Soleil visits Children’s Museum Houston for a Spring Break show. Witness a mind-boggling performance by the one-and-only daredevil group as they give you a preview of Alegria. Entry is included with general museum admission. 10:30am and 11am.
  • Seaport Spring Break Classes: Let’s Talk Trash at Texas Seaport Museum | Friday, March 13 – Bring the kiddos to Galveston and join Texas Seaport Museum this March for their Seaport Spring Break workshop series. For the hour-long “Let’s Talk Trash” program, you’ll discuss marine debris and how you can help save our oceans from more pollution. Bring an adult-sized t-shirt and transform it into a reusable recycled t-shirt bag to take home. Entry is included with general museum admission to the Texas Seaport Museum. 11:30am.
  • Spring Break CMH Idol at Children’s Museum Houston | Friday, March 13 – Children’s Museum Houston hosts its very own CHM Idol singing show for Spring Break. Kids can perform their favorite songs at an open mic session complete with encouraging advice to get them to that next level of talent. After taking the stage, they can sit back and enjoy a special performance by America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Christina Wells and season 11 American Idol sensation Wendy Taylor. Entry is included with general museum admission. 3pm and 4pm.
  • Spring Break: Pi Day at Children’s Museum Houston | Saturday, March 14 – Bring out the splash guard for Albert Einstein’s birthday and Pi Day at the 11th Annual Pi(e) Fight at Children’s Museum Houston. Two teams will face off in the ultimate shaving cream “pie” fight as they shut down the street for some serious, high-flying splat. Entry is included with general museum admission. Starts at 1:59pm.
  • Superhero Saturdays at the Roller Rink at Discovery Green | Saturday, March 14 – Skate with superheroes at Discovery Green’s Roller Rink in Downtown. Visitors can look forward to sailing around the rink with Captain America and Ironman. Tickets are $8 to skate; $4 for skate rentals. 4pm and 6pm.
  • Spring Break: Mad about Hoops at Children’s Museum Houston | Sunday, March 15 – Prepare to be blown away by a spectacular LED hula hoop performance while learning a few tricks at Mad About Hoops at Children’s Museum Houston. Entry is included with general museum admission. 3pm.
