This Week
The effects of Harvey may remain an ongoing thorn in the city’s side for months to come, but there are plenty of opportunities to de-stress and have fun this month across Houston.
In addition to a huge array of fundraising and recovery events (including the extension of Houston Restaurant Weeks through month’s end), you’ll find the usual after summer suspects like Oktoberfest Houston, Houston Fringe Festival, Texans regular season play, and more.
Events are not ranked, but are listed in chronological order throughout the month of August, with the daily option closing out the list.
This list was updated and prepared after Hurricane Harvey to reflect events still scheduled in the month of September 2017.
