  • Lil Baby, with GloRilla, the Kid Laroi & More in Concert at Toyota Center | Wednesday, July 26 – The white-hot Grammy Award–winning rap star brings the party to Clutch City on the It’s Only Us tour, joined by the Kid Laroi, GloRilla, Gloss Up, Rylo Rodriguez, and Hunxho supporting. $54 and up. 7pm.
  • The Pharcyde in Concert at House of Blues | Wednesday, July 26 – The legendary alternative hip-hop collective, the Pharcyde are embarking on a bizarre ride in honor of the 30th anniversary of their seminal record, Bizarre Ride II: the Pharcyde. $29.50 and up. 7pm.
  • Women’s World Cup Watch Party: USA vs. Netherlands at Social Beer Garden | Wednesday, July 26 | No Cover – Catch the stars and stripes as they take on Netherlands in Match Day 2 of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand. The Midtown beer garden will have the games playing on the big screen outside, so put on your kit and come celebrate goals with fellow fanatics. 8pm.
  • The MBA Tour at JW Marriott Downtown | Thursday, July 27 | FREE – Prospective and aspiring MBA candidates are welcome at this event, where admissions officers and recruiters of top programs from around the country will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips on applications, the GMAT exam and more. Plus, one lucky attendee will be awarded a $250 GMAT exam voucher. RSVP required. 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
  • Disturbed, with Breaking Benjamin & Jinjer in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Thursday, July 27 – Heavy metal group Disturbed headlines in the Woodlands while on the Take Back Your Life Tour, joined by rockers Breaking Benjamin and Ukrainian group Jinjer. $22 and up. 6:30pm.
  • Ayra Starr in Concert at Rise Rooftop | Thursday, July 27 – Nigerian Afropop R&B singer Ayra Starr takes to the Midtown rooftop with songs from her 2021 debut, 19 & Dangerous, as well as new tunes. $50 and up. 9pm.
  • Houston Shakespeare Festival presents Macbeth & Much Ado About Nothing at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29 | FREE – This annual celebration of the Bard’s greatest works is back in Hermann Park. Macbeth is a story of madness, murder and power, while Much Ado About Nothing is a battle-of-the-sexes comedy. The shows are presented in repertory on alternating nights, with Macbeth running Thursday and Saturday, and Much Ado About Nothing on Friday. 8:15pm.
  • Summer Nights at Museum of Fine Arts Houston | Friday, July 28 – If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have the museum to yourself, this is your chance to find out. Roam the galleries—including special exhibits like Pipilotti Rist: Pixel Forest and Worry Will Vanish and Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Masterpieces—enjoy cocktails and grab happy hour pricing in Cafe Leonelli. Guests who purchase a museum membership at Summer Nights receive special membership pricing. $40 per person. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Greta Van Fleet in Concert at Toyota Center | Friday, July 28 – The rock and roll–playing band of brothers, Greta Van Fleet takes the Toyota Center stage just days after the release of Starcatcher. $75 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Potterfest at Urban South HTX Brewery | Friday, July 28 & Saturday, July 29 | No Cover – Capping off a month of Harry Potter celebration, Urban South hosts a night of trivia on Friday, followed by a Saturday filled with Hogwarts magic, including themed drinks, live entertainment, a Diagon Alley vendor market and more. Friday 7pm; Saturday 1pm to 6pm.
  • Houston Texans Training Camp at NRG Park | Friday, July 28 & Sunday, July 30 | FREE – Get ready for some football as it’s that time again with the Houston Texans opening up training camp to the public for 8 days of football fun into mid-August. Free with an advance ticket. 9am.
  • Splash Dance with Erica Nix at Heights House Hotel | Saturday, July 29 – Start your day with this water aerobics class that includes a Kim Petras playlist and an irreverent vibe, in collaboration with the Orange Show. Part-class, part-art creation, this exercise event is designed to be body positive and queer/trans/nonbinary inclusive. $20; free to spectate. 10am to noon.
  • Garden Party & Planting Workshop at Brennan’s of Houston | Saturday, July 29 – The Midtown restaurant joins with nearby plant shop The Flora Culture for this hands-on workshop where you’ll sip cocktails, enjoy light bites, and create a potted plant to take home. $45, plus tax and gratuity. 11:30am to 1:30pm.
  • 5th Birthday Block Party at Henderson & Kane | Saturday, July 29 | FREE – The Sixth Ward general store and barbecue slingers celebrate their fifth birthday with a block party featuring games, local goodies and plenty of family fun. 3pm to 8pm.
  • ¡Alotta Michelada! at Urban South HTX Brewery | Saturday, July 29 – This inaugural event features 18 challengers who will face off to be crowned the Michelada Master of Houston. Each ticket includes four Ocho Mexican-style Lagers, a sample from each Michelada challenger, and a souvenir glass. There will be Judges’ Choice for Best In Show and a People’s Choice Award as well. $25. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Comedian Sarah Sherman at the Secret Group | Saturday, July 29 – The comedian, a recent addition to the cast of Saturday Night Live, takes her comedy act on the road for an unconventional show. Getting her start in Chicago under the name Sarah Squirm, she told Vulture that she find “glory in gore.” $25. 7pm.
  • Barbie Brunch at Brasserie 19 | Sunday, July 30 – Assemble your crew for a Barbie-themed brunch in River Oaks, featured a special menu of eats and cocktails, along with photo ops and other dining specials. Have your pick of the Cosmopolitan Barbie—a blend of vodka, Cointreau and cranberry juice—or try the Beyond the Pink, a simple drink of gin with orange-hibiscus syrup. Prices vary. 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
  • ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Sunday, July 30 – Be there when two classic rock titans take the stage while on their co-headlining Sharp Dressed Simple Man tour. $29.50 and up. 6:30pm.
