  • World Tour Wine Dinner at Triniti | Monday, June 8 Triniti Restaurant invites guests to a unique dining experience bringing food, wine and music together for an unforgettable evening. Enjoy a six-course meal prepared by Chef Ryan Hildebrand with wine pairings while delighting your ears with music from a 12 string orchestra. Compositions from Germany, Argentina, Japan, Italy, Mexico and Spain will be paired with each course – making it a global experience. $195. 6pm.
  • Kata Robata’s 6th Anniversary | Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9  Kata Robata – the Upper Kirby sushi hot spot – will celebrate their 6th anniversary with specials on some of their most popular dishes. Try their three piece premium sushi plate ($16), whole branzino ($26), four-ounce A5 Wagyu beef filet ($66) or any of their desserts for just $6 during their anniversary celebration. 5pm to 10:30pm both days.
  • Bichot Wine Dinner at Étoile Cuisine et Bar | Tuesday, June 9 – Uptown Park French restaurant Étoile Cuisine et Bar hosts a five-course wine dinner featuring Albert Bichot Winery. Chef Philippe Verpiand will prepare dishes that include salmon tartare, summer vegetable minestrone, braised veal brisket, epoisse cheese ravioli and rice pudding while guest Nicolas Coullenot will speak about and pair wines from the vineyard for your enjoyment. $98. 6:45pm.
  • Moonlight Movies for Kids at CityCentre | Wednesday, June 10 | FREE – CityCentre kicks off their free movie series – Moonlight Movies for Kids – with a screening of Big Hero 6 under the stars. Enjoy complimentary popcorn and fun for the whole family. 8:30pm.
  • Sugar Land Skeeters Teacher Appreciation Night at Constellation Field – Cheer on the Sugar Land Skeeters as they kick off a four game series against the Revolution at Constellation Field. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, all teachers from the Greater Houston and surrounding areas will receive two free tickets to the game. Tickets start at $8; limited discounted $6.50 tickets available; free for teachers with valid ID. 7:05pm.
  • Rainbow on the Green at Discovery Green | Friday, June 12 | FREE – Show your true colors during this annual citywide LGBT celebration at Discovery Green. Rainbow on the Green features music and dancing with performances by Derrick Barry as Lady Gaga and Britney Spears and Coco Montrese, one of RuPaul’s Drag Race top 5 contestants. Get your game on with Houston Gaymers playing Super Smash Bros., Wii U and Mario Kart. $25 VIP. 7pm.
  • Pop Shop Houston Summer Festival at Silver Street Studios | Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 | FREE to Attend – Get creative at the Pop Shop Houston Summer Festival. Sample brews from local, national and international breweries, listen to live music performances and enjoy food and activities during this two day festival. $50 weekend pass; $25 weekend pass concert only; $175 weekend pass VIP; $35 day pass; $20 day pass concert only; $200 Saturday pass VIP; $100 Sunday pass VIP.   • An Evening with Travis Tritt at The Grand in Galveston | Sunday, June 14 – Make your way to Galveston to see Grammy and CMA Award-winning country singer Travis Tritt live at The Grand 7894 Opera House. He’ll have you singing It’s a Great Day to Be Alive. Tickets start at $35. 7pm.
