- Lucinda Williams, with Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, King Leg at White Oak Music Hall | Tuesday, August 7 – Three legends of country and Americana sound join together for the LSD Tour this summer, bringing extensive song catalogs that reach back several decades. Supported by up-and-coming artist, King Leg, this show is sure to be a hit with the country and western fan. - Jeff Lynne’s ELO, with Dawes at Toyota Center | Friday, August 10 – Electric Light Orchestra is back after a hiatus reaching back to 1986. Frontman Jeff Lynne has reformed the group and begun touring through North America again, following an epic hit-filled show at Wembley in London last June. - Bush, with The Cult, Stone Temple Pilots at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Thursday, August 16 – A three-headliner tour arrives in Houston, boasting three giants of alternative rock. With each band performing full sets, this is an extended show that promises to revel late into the night. - Rob Zombie, with Marilyn Manson at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | Saturday, August 18 – Following up the raucous 2012 Twins of Evil Tour, Zombie and Manson have paired up again for the tour’s sequel in a co-headlining event that brings the Big Rock Show to town. - Lyle Lovett and His Large Band at Hobby Center | Wednesday, August 22 – A future hall-of-famer, Lovett is one of the premier singer-songwriters of our time. - Tony Bennett, with Antonia Bennett at Smart Financial Centre | Thursday, August 23 – The legendary musician, with 19 Grammys under his belt, arrives to Houston for a night filled with iconic songs such as “Steppin’ Out With My Baby” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”. - Rudz 40th Anniversary, featuring Vodi, The Wheel Works, Jealous Creatures at Rudyard’s British Pub | Friday, August 24 | No Cover – This Montrose British Pub on Waugh enters its 40th year serving Houston and will be celebrating along with local musicians Vodi, The Wheel Works, and Jealous Creatures. This show is free and open to adults ages 21 and older. 8pm.
