Postponed & Canceled Events in Houston for Spring 2020

[UPDATE: 3/25/20] Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo has issued a Stay Home/Work Safe Order for all of Harris County through Friday, April 3, 2020. Entertainment businesses, arenas, theaters, among others are closed until that date, while essential businesses (including grocery stores, limited retail, and select other business) remain open.

[UPDATE: 3/17/20] The City of Galveston has ordered all island amusement parks, museums and bars closed effective Tuesday, March 17 until further notice. Restaurants may only offer delivery, take-out, or drive-thru options.

[UPDATE: 3/16/20] In accordance with the City of Houston requirements, all bars and nightclubs will be closed from Tuesday, March 17 until further notice. Restaurants may only offer delivery, take-out, or drive-thru options.

Around Houston, many organizers and event spaces have begun the process of canceling or rescheduling some of their upcoming events that were slated for the month of March and beyond.

We’ve compiled a list of events, performances, and gatherings that have been canceled or postponed (providing rescheduled dates where applicable).
