- Stranger Things-Themed Art Show at Texas Art Asylum | Saturday and Sunday | No Cover – The Texas Art Asylum hosts a 2-day only art show based on the popular ’80s revival TV show, Stranger Things. 2pm to 9pm each day.
- The Houston Pancakes & Booze Art Show at Warehouse Live | Saturday and Sunday – Enjoy over 120 emerging artists, live body painting, music, and a full pancakes bar at Warehouse Live. Tickets start at $10. 8pm each day.

- Holiday Happy Hour with Bayou Buddies & Evergreen at Four Seasons Hotel Downtown – Jingle while you mingle with members of Bayou Buddies, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s Young Professional group, and Evergreen, the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center’s Young Profesional group at this holiday-themed Happy Hour in Downtown. This event is free for member; minimum $10 donation for nonmembers. 6pm to 8pm.
- Simple Plan in Concert at House of Blues – Pop-rock band, Simple Plan, take the stage at House of Blues in Downtown for their No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls 15th Anniversary Tour. Tickets start at $25, but you may find cheaper or hard-to-find seats on SeatsForEveryone’s online resale market. 7pm.
- Harry Potter Trivia 2.0 at King’s BierHaus | No Cover – Show off your knowledge at this Harry Potter-themed trivia night featuring an entire Harry Potter inspired menu, costumes, prizes and more at King’s BierHaus in The Heights. 7pm to 10pm.
- Couples Painting Party at Southern Star Brewery – Get together with your special someone and enjoy a 3-hour painting party that includes 3 beers per person and delectable Hors d’oeuvres available at Southern Star Brewery. Cost is $90 per couple and registration is required. 7pm to 10pm.

- Cheers & Beers Holiday Market at Saint Arnold Brewing Co. | No Cover – Shop for unique holiday gifts when Shop Local sets up their Cheers & Beer Holiday Market at Saint Arnold Brewing Co. This family-friendly event will feature plenty of local vendors, root beer floats for the kiddos, music, ugly sweaters, and even a gift wrapping section. 5pm to 10pm.
- Wine Down at Bagby Park | No Cover – Wine Down is a monthly happy hour series in Bagby Park that features live entertainment, lawn games, and giveaways. For this Wine Down, enjoy some rock music from The Slags. 6pm to 9pm.

- Tamale Festival Houston at Navigation Esplanade – Festival-goers can expect a tamale eating contest, live music, and plenty of food and drink vendors offering tamales, festival eats, and Tex-Mex favorites. Tickets are $10 pre-sale; $20 day of; VIP tickets available for $85. Kids 12 and under can get in for free with a paid adult admission. Noon to 10pm.
- Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl in Midtown – A full bar route with awesome drink specials will be provided for all ugly sweater pub crawl participants. Rejoice with hundreds of fellow patrons who enjoy the ugly sweater season and the holiday festivities. Tickets are $12.02, but you may find limited comp tickets or discounted tickets for $5. 3pm.
- The Brews & Blues White Oak Street Festival – The Brews & Blues White Oak Street Festival will have live blues bands performing at Onion Creek, Little Woodrow’s, and Christian’s Tailgate. Tickets are $10. 4pm.

- Houston versus Austin BBQ Throwdown at Saint Arnold Brewery – Eat your weight in barbecue as Houston and Austin pitmasters face off in a smoked-filled throwdown at Saint Arnold’s Brewery. Participating Houston barbecue joints include Beaver’s, The Brisket House, El Burro & the Bull, Ellis Brothers BBQ and more. Tickets are $80 for general admission; $130 for VIP. 1pm to 4pm.
- Barks & Brews Adoption Event at 8th Wonder Brewery | No Cover – The Animal Justice League hosts the Barks & Brews event where you can visit with some adoptable pups while sipping on an 8th Wonder Brewery beer. 1pm to 4pm.
- Landing Theatre Sunday Funday at Poison Girl | No Cover – Hang out with The Landing Theatre Company and help them raise funds for their 2018 season at the dive bar, Poison Girl in Montrose. Drinks are on you and 10% of all bar sales will be donated to the company. 3pm to midnight.
