  • Menorah Lighting at The Galleria | Tuesday, December 12 | FREE – Enjoy the 7th annual lighting of the 12-foot high menorah, created by I. Cohen, at The Galleria. There will be a children’s choir, dreidels, sufganiyah (Israeli doughnuts), and Chanukah gelt (chocolate coins). 6:30pm.
  • Time Warp Tuesdays on The ICE at Discovery Green | Tuesday, December 12 – Skate to the tunes of decades past, whether it be the ’60s or the ’80s, during Time Warp Tuesdays in The ICE at Discovery Green. Each week will have a different theme and costumes are encouraged. Tickets are $14. 7pm to 9pm.
  • Mrs. Claus’ Gingerbread House Workshop at The Woodlands Children’s Museum | Wednesday, December 13 – Spend the day with Mrs. Claus building your own gingerbread house with graham crackers and decorating it with icing and candy at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Included with general admission to the museum. 10am to 2pm.
  • Chanukah in the Snow at Chabad of Uptown | Wednesday, December 13 – Bring the family for Chanukah in the Snow where you can light the snow menorah, participate in Chanukah crafts, enjoy donuts and latkes, and play in the snow. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children in advance. $15 for adults and $10 for children at the door. 6pm to 8pm.
  • Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Movie Screening at City Centre | Wednesday, December 13 | FREE – Go on an adventure with Kevin McAllister as CityCentre hosts a special holiday screening of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Free to attend. 6pm.
  • Screen on the Green: It’s A Wonderful Life Movie Screening at Discovery Green | Thursday, December 14 | FREE – Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for an outdoor screening of It’s A Wonderful Life at Discovery Green park. In this uplifting Christmas classic, an angel is sent from heaven to help a frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he never existed. 7pm.
  • Brunch with Santa at Phoenicia Specialty Foods | Saturday, December 16 | No Cover – Bring the gang to this festive family event, where kids and adults can enjoy holiday activities alongside a seasonal brunch menu. The Houston Fire Department will have a truck on site for Operation Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive (new and unwrapped toys encouraged), and Santa and Ms. Claus will be in the house for photos with the little ones. 9am to 3pm.
  • Kids & Christmas Pops Concert at Stude Concert Hall | Saturday, December 16 – The Houston Children’s Choir performs all of your favorite holiday classics at the Stude Concert Hall at Rice University. Tickets are $15. 5pm to 6pm.
  • 2017 Holiday Parade in Downtown Galveston | Saturday, December 16 | FREE – The City of Galveston hosts a Holiday Parade featuring festive floats, golf carts, cyclists and more heading towards their Historic Downtown. 6:30pm.
  •  Photos with Santa at Sugar Land Town Square | Sunday, December 17 | FREE – Bring the kids to Sugar Land Town Square and snap a free holiday photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They will also be collecting new and unwrapped toys for the Fort Bend Rainbow Room’s Christmas Project. 1pm to 5pm.
