Can’t make it to Munich for Oktoberfest this year? Not to worry.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to drink beer, dress up in your dirndl or lederhosen, eat pretzels, and listen to polka music as area restaurants and bars celebrate Oktoberfest in Houston this fall.

Fourth Weekend of September

  • Karbachtoberfest 2018 at Karbach Brewing Co. | Thursday, September 20 to Sunday, September 23 – Karbach Brewing Co. hosts their 3-weekend Karbachtoberfest filled with live music, German-inspired food, and of course, beer. Sundays will be family- and dog-friendly. Each weekend will feature a new music lineup. Tickets range from $10 to $20. Thursday to Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at noon.
  • Oktoberfest in the Heights | Saturday, September 22 – Celebrate Oktoberfest at the Little Woodrow’s in the Heights parking lot with traditional foods, beer, music, and Wiener dog races. Noon.
  • Oktoberfest at Conservatory | Saturday, September 22 | No Cover – Celebrate Oktoberfest with Houston’s first food hall at the Conservatory in Downtown. The event will feature Stein holding contests, raffles, German-inspired food, and craft beer on tap. Noon to 6pm.

Last Weekend of September 

  • Karbachtoberfest 2018 at Karbach Brewing Co. | Thursday, September 27 to Sunday, September 30 – Karbach Brewing Co. hosts their 3-weekend Karbachtoberfest filled with live music, German-inspired food, and of course, beer. Sundays will be family-friendly and dog-friendly. Each weekend will feature a new music lineup. Tickets range from $10 to $20. Thursday to Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at noon.
  • Houston Oktoberfest at The Water Works | Saturday, September 29 – This craft beer festival brings a German twist, with polka music, German beers and brats, and the annual Oktoberfest Olympiad, featuring games like stein hoisting, brat tossing, and barrel rolling. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $100 for VIP, with beer pong and flip cup tournament entry fees available for purchase. Save 20% through Wednesday, September 26 with promo code HTOWN365. 11am to 6pm.

First Weekend of October

  • Oktoberfest at Memorial City | Thursday, October 4 | No Cover – Grab your dirndl and lederhosen and celebrate Oktoberfest on the lawn at Memorial City. They will have selections from some of Houston’s microbreweries, Bavarian-style food, and live German folk music and dancing. 5pm to 8pm.
  • Karbachtoberfest 2018 at Karbach Brewing Co. | Thursday, October 4 to Sunday, October 7 – Karbach Brewing Co. hosts their 3-weekend Karbachtoberfest filled with live music, German-inspired food, and of course, beer. Sundays will be family-friendly and dog-friendly. Each weekend will feature a new music lineup. Tickets range from $10 to $20. Thursday to Saturday at 5pm; Sunday at noon.
  • King’s Oktoberfest Weekend at King’s Biergarten in Pearland | Friday, October 5 to Sunday, October 7 – King’s annual Oktoberfest celebration returns to Pearland with more live German music, more biers, more brats, and more fun. Festivities include adult carnival games, food, arm wrestling and strongman competitions, and plenty of German biers. This year, they are also giving away two all-inclusive trips for two to Oktoberfest 2019 in Munich, Germany. Tickets range from $12 to $30. Friday at 5pm; Saturday at 11am; Sunday at noon.
  • Oktoberfest 2018 at Saint Arnold Brewing Company | Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7 – Put on your best dirndl, lederhosen or other Tyrolean duds and head to Saint Arnold’s annual Oktoberfest party. Have a German-inspired dinner, beer, and join in on the Oktoberfest festivities. You could even be crowned King or Queen of Oktoberfest – they’ll have a contest to see who comes outfitted the best. Tickets are $50. Saturday 6pm to 9pm; Sunday 1pm to 4pm.

Second Weekend of October

  • Oktoberfest in Beaumont | Saturday, October 13 | FREE – Make your way to Beaumont for their 4th Annual family-friendly Oktoberfest featuring authentic polka and live music, food and beverages, children’s activities and more. There will be performances by The Royal Klobasneks, Paul Childers, Mayeux & Broussard and TN Jett as well as a large beer garden, food trucks, airbrush face painting and more. 3pm to 8pm.

Third Weekend of October

  • King’s Oktoberfest Weekend at King’s BierHaus in The Heights | Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21 – King’s annual Oktoberfest celebration returns to The Heights with more live German music, more biers, more brats, and more fun. Festivities include adult carnival games, food, arm wrestling and strongman competitions, and plenty of German biers. This year, they are also giving away two all-inclusive trips for two to Oktoberfest 2019 in Munich, Germany. Tickets range from $12 to $30. Friday at 5pm; Saturday and Sunday at noon.
