- 45th Annual Bayou City Art Festival in Memorial Park | Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1 – Spend the weekend at Memorial Park observing fine art and enjoying the outdoors. The Bayou City Art Festival showcases pieces from hundreds of artists, including works from featured artist April Murphy. Tickets start at $5. Friday 11am to 6pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
- Texas Taco & Music Fest at Navigation Esplanade | Saturday, April 30 – Hit the East End for a taco throw down, cooking demos, karaoke, crafts, a kids zone, beer and live music headlined by Wild Moccasins. Tickets are $8. Noon to 9pm.
