- Scream on the Green at Discovery Green | Friday, October 28 | FREE – The annual Halloween celebration returns to the Downtown park space, offering tunes from DJ Mohawk Steve, a screening of Monster House, and a costume contest. 6pm to 10pm.
- Fall Festival at Urban Harvest Saturday Farmers Market | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – Urban Harvest celebrates all things fall at a special super-sized Fall Festival edition of the weekly Saturday farmers market. - Sugar Land Día de los Muertos Celebration at Sugar Land Town Square | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – This celebration showcases traditional mariachi and ballet folkloric performances, Aztec dancers, customary Hispanic cuisine, cultural art exhibitions, children’s activities, and more. Noon to 4pm.
- Saturday Spooktacular at Feges BBQ | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – The Spring Branch outpost of Feges hosts a Saturday afternoon of family fun, with special Halloween frozen beverages, cookies, a kids area with bounce house, pumpkin decorating, and a screening of Hocus Pocus. 3pm to 6pm.
- Halloween Town at Constellation Field | Saturday, October 29 – Halloween Town in Sugar Land returns to Constellation Field complete with candy, games, activities, and more. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Advance tickets are $11; $8 for ages 4 to 12; free for ages 3 and under. 3pm to 9pm.
- 3rd Annual Hike, Bike & Fright Fest at M-K-T | Saturday, October 29 | FREE – M-K-T in the Heights celebrates Halloween with a free, family-friendly festival that takes over the entire center. The third annual event will include a Trick-or-Treat Trail, an outdoor Shop Local Market featuring more than 40 local vendors, live music and dance performances, special deals at M-K-T shops and restaurants, a pumpkin patch photo op, an outdoor screening of the 1996 teen horror fantasy movie The Craft (R) on the lawn, and more. 4pm to 9pm.
- Wings Over Houston Airshow 2022 at Ellington Field | Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30 – One of the top airshows in the nation, Wings Over Houston showcases vintage World War II aircraft and modern aviation with soaring spectacles, reenactments, and high-flying aerobatics. $32.50; free for ages 14 and under with adult (up to 6 kids per adult). 8am to 4pm.
- Día de Muertos Festival at MECA Houston | Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30 | FREE – MECA’s annual two-day Día de los Muertos community festival in Sixth Ward returns, packed with delicious foods, live music and dance performances, arts and crafts activities, a local vendor market, artists, ofrendas and more. 11am to 7pm both days.

- 10th Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat at CityCentre | Sunday, October 30 | FREE – Go on a spooky stroll through CityCentre in your costume for tricks and treats. Stores and restaurants throughout the district will have goodies for the the little trick-or-treaters and be marked with a festive balloon outside their door. Then, join DJ Dave in the plaza for haunting tunes, a witchy Halloween performance, and fun activities from Life Time Athletic. 2pm to 5pm.
