- Hello Trees! at Discovery Green | Daily | FREE – Stroll through Discovery Green’s temporary art installation Hello Trees! and watch/listen as your voice message is transformed into light and music.
- Zoo Lights at Houston Zoo | Daily – Explore the Houston Zoo at night while millions of lights illuminate the various exhibits in this annual tradition. Tickets start at $11.95. Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm; Friday to Sunday 6pm to 11pm.
- A Christmas Carol at The Grand | Friday and Saturday – Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmases past, present, and future come to life on stage at The Grand in Galveston for two productions of A Christmas Carol. Tickets start at $30. Friday 8pm; Saturday 3pm.
- The French Farm’s Holiday Open Warehouse Sale | Friday and Saturday – Bring the taste and feel of Europe home for the holidays when The French Farm opens their warehouse for a major sale. 10am to 3pm both days.
- 44th Annual Dickens on The Strand in Galveston | Friday to Sunday – Take to the streets of Galveston for the 44th annual Victorian holiday festival, Dickens on The Strand, with costumed vendors, strolling carolers, jugglers, holiday food, and drinks. Tickets start at $7. Friday 5pm to 9pm; Saturday 10am to 9pm; Sunday noon to 6pm.
- Pop Shop Houston Holiday Festival at GreenStreet | Friday to Sunday – Head Downtown for shopping, music from DJ Fredster, face painting, a fashion show, and DIYs at Pop Shop Houston’s Holiday Festival. Friday 6pm to 10pm; Saturday 10am to 7pm; Sunday 11am to 4pm.
- Very Merry Pops Concert With Megan Hilty at Jones Hall | Friday to Sunday – Megan Hilty of Broadway’s Wicked will join the Houston Symphony for three nights of festive holiday performances featuring songs like “Jingle Bells”, “Santa Baby”, and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $57. Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 7:30pm.
