- Fandemic Comic Convention at NRG Center | Friday to Saturday – Geek out will fellow fans when the Fandemic Comic Con Tour, a comic pop culture convention experience, makes its Houston debut at NRG Center. The three-day entertainment extravaganza celebrates all things pop culture with celebrities, artists, illustrators, professional and amateur cosplayers, vendors and exhibitors with programming and panel discussions. Prices and times vary.
- Beyoncé & Jay-Z in Concert at NRG Stadium | Saturday and Sunday – Following the surprise album release of Everything Is Love, the Carters have reemerged for their next collaborative world tour, dubbed the On the Run II Tour. Tickets range from $79 to over $320, but you may find better, cheaper, or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7:30pm each day.

- Wine Down Wednesday at FM Kitchen and Bar | No Cover – Head to FM Kitchen and Bar every Wednesday for cheap wine all day and some live acoustic music all night from Tom Lynch and Haley Lynch of the local band VODI. Live music begins at 6:30pm. 11am to 8:30pm.
- Rise Against in Concert at Revention Music Center – A major triple bill of punk rock hits Downtown’s Revention Music Center, with Rise Against headlining in support of their 2017 release, Wolves. They’ll be joined by the influential AFI and Anti-Flag. Tickets range from $51 to $120. 6pm.
- Pilates and Prosecco at Spring Street Beer and Wine Garden – Take part in a one hour Pilates mat class and stay for Happy Hour prices on Prosecco at Spring Street Beer and Wine Garden. Tickets are $10 in advance; $15 at the door. 6pm to 7pm.
- Patron Circle: Lawn Party at CAMH | No Cover – The Patron Circle, CAMH’s young professionals, hosts a Lawn party featuring music, food, interactive art, drinks from Treaty Oak Distillery, complimentary gelato pops from Trentino Gelato, and tours. 6pm to 8pm.
- Bingo Night at Mellow Mushroom | No Cover – Enjoy drink specials, pizza, and prizes while playing a game of bingo at Mellow Mushroom. 7pm.

- Project One Way at Sugar Land Town Square | FREE – Have a girls night out and enjoy drinks, fall fashion, sweet treats and more at the Project One Way event at Sugar Land Town Square. The one-woman fashion show will feature lifestyle blogger Megan of Honey We’re Home as she showcases her favorite fall pieces from the Sugar Land Town Square retailers. 6:30pm to 8pm.
- Maker’s Mark Dinner Pairing at Bar Boheme – Bar Boheme hosts their 3rd installment of their Maker’s Mark bourbon Pairing Dinner. Tickets are $59 per person. 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
- Happy Hour with Beetle in Concert at The Continental Club | No Cover – Hear your favorite Beatles songs every Thursday evening with the tribute band, Beetle at The Continental Club. 7pm to 10pm.
- Kolars in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Dance along to the disco band Kolars along with openers, Ezra at White Oak Music Hall. Tickets start at $12. 7pm.

- Duck Soup Softball Tournament at Memorial Park – Get your team together as Sportsmonkey presents their very 1st Duck Soup Softball Tournament at Memorial Park. Early bird tickets for a team are $275; $300 for regular registration. 9am.
- Texas Taco Music Fest at Discovery Green – The Texas Taco Music Fest reboots as Texas Taco Mania at Discovery Green in Downtown, offering a unique celebration of fun, food, music, and Latin culture. The rain-or-shine event will feature a taco throwdown, live bands, cooking demonstrations, crafts booths, and tasty margaritas. Tickets are $15 for general admission; $20 at the gate. Noon to 9pm.
- Hasan Minhaj at Cullen Performance Hall – Comedian, actor, host, and writer, Hasan Minhaj comes to town for his Before the Storm tour at the Cullen Performance Hall. Tickets range from $38 to $78. 6pm.
- Dining with Divas at Hamburger Mary’s – Sit back and get your grub on while watching a delightful show of all-star divas led by two of Houston’s premiere drag artists at Hamburger Mary’s restaurant and bar. $5 will be added to your dinner bill for the show. 7pm.
- Bayou City Music Series: The Soundtrack of the Gulf at Buffalo Bayou Park | FREE – The Bayou City Music Series hosts the Soundtrack of the Gulf featuring music from Annika Chambers, Kashmere HS Marching Band at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park. 7pm to 9:30pm.
- Hannibal Buress at Revention Music Center – Bust a gut when comedian, actor, and writer, Hannibal Buress takes the stage at Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $39. 8pm.
- The Crystal Method in Concert at Warehouse Live (Studio) – One of the pioneering electronica duos, The Crystal Method has been churning out thumping rhythms since 1993. See them perform live at the Warehouse Live Studio room. Tickets are $19 advance; $22 day of show. 9pm.
- The Late Show: Bathtub Full of Gin at Prohibition Supperclub – Step into the Roaring ’20s, when skirts were short and booze was a secret pleasure. Bathtub Full of Gin is Terrible Enfant Theatre Company’s immersive dance party series, where evocative theatre performances combine with high energy electro swing music. Tickets are $20 for standing; $35 for seated, but limited, discounted $10 standing tickets are available for most shows. 11pm.

- Screwed Up Sunday at 8th Wonder Brewery – 8th Wonder Brewery partners up with Donkeeboy Art & Screwville for the 4th Annual Screwed Up Sunday. The event pays homage the creator of the iconic art and sound of “chopped and screwed”, DJ Screw. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door. 11am to 6pm.
- Houston BBQ Throwdown at Saint Arnold Brewery – The fourth annual Houston BBQ Throwdown will rock some of the best-smoked meats our city has to offer, with top area pitmasters serving dishes that represent their interpretation of Houston-style barbecue. Tickets are $65 including beer and samples of each competition dish; $130 for VIP. 1pm to 4pm.
- Nora En Pure at Clé Houston – Indie house and techno act Nora En Pure performs at the Clé Houston lounge in Midtown. Tickets start at $10. 2pm to 8pm.
- Chayanne in Concert at Toyota Center – Chayanne, the renowned Puerto Rican and Latin pop singer, returns to the scene with his new tour, Desde El Alma. Tickets range from $61 to $51, before ticketing fees, but you may find cheaper of better seats on the TicketNetwork resale marketplace. 7pm to 10pm.
- Ceramic Animal in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – The psychedelic indie band from Philadelphia, Ceramic Animal headlines this concert at White Oak Music Hall. Tickets are $12. 7pm.
- PMT Pop Up: Country Cabaret at Shoeshine Charley’s Big Top Lounge – Join Houston-area vocalists as they cover Top 40 Country music from then and now, including artists like Patsy Cline, George Strait, Shania Twain, and Miranda Lambert at Big Top Lounge on Mid Main. Tickets start at $10. 8pm to 10pm.
