  • Kristóf Baráti and Klára Würtz in Concert at The Menil Collection | Monday, April 25 and Tuesday, April 26 Watch as pianist Klára Würtz and violinist Kristóf Baráti perform three of Beethoven’s violin sonatas with The Menil Collection as the backdrop. Tickets are $40. 7:30pm.
  • Flanagan Wine Dinner at Harold’s in the Heights | Tuesday, April 26 Indulge in a wine dinner at Harold’s in The Heights featuring a six course menu from Chef Antoine Ware featuring wine pairings from Sonoma County’s Flanagan Winery. $125. 6:30pm.
  • Aperitivo After Dark & Spritz Book Launch at Anvil | Wednesday, April 27 | FREE to Attend Authors Talia Baiocchi and Leslie Pariseau will celebrate the release of their new book Spritz: Italy’s Most Iconic Aperitivo Cocktail with a party at Anvil featuring specialty cocktails. 9pm to midnight.
  • Houston’s Startup Demo Day at Start Houston | Wednesday, April 27 | FREE Hear a select group of local Houston startups pitch their company, current status, and where they are headed next to a teal of Houston mentors and tech entrepreneurs. 5pm to 8pm.
  • Dining Out for Life at Restaurants Around Houston | Thursday, April 28 Eat out at a participating restaurant and a portion of your check will be donated to local AIDS service organization AIDS Foundation Houston. Prices, times and locations vary. Click here for participating restaurants.
  • Houston Texans Draft Party at NRG Stadium | Thursday, April 28 – Calling all Texans fans to NRG to watch the Texans use their top draft pick during this annual party. There will be interactive games, appearances by the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and the team’s mascot Toro, and more. First run tickets are sold out, but you may be able to find tickets on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 5pm.
  • Bonnie Raitt in Concert at Revention Music Center | Friday, April 29 – Hear songs like “I Can’t Make You Love Me” live from country legend Bonnie Raitt at Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $47.50, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 8pm.
  • 45th Annual Bayou City Art Festival in Memorial Park | Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1 Spend the weekend at Memorial Park observing fine art and enjoying the outdoors. The Bayou City Art Festival showcases pieces from hundreds of artists, including works from featured artist April Murphy. Tickets start at $5. Friday 11am to 6pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
  • Texas Taco & Music Fest at Navigation Esplanade | Saturday, April 30 Hit the East End for a taco throw down, cooking demos, karaoke, crafts, a kids zone, beer and live music headlined by Wild Moccasins. Tickets are $8. Noon to 9pm.
  • 5th Annual Funomenal Family Festival at Discovery Green | Saturday, April 30 | FREE – Bring the whole family to Discovery Green for music from DJ Astra, dance performances, baby olympics, foam parties, zip lines, a meet and greet with Belle and Snow White and more. 1pm to 6pm.
  • 3rd Annual Houston Firkin Fest in Hennessy Park | Saturday, April 30 Sample beer from breweries like Real Ale, Karbach, No Label, Saint Arnold, Freetail and more poured straight from traditional casks (also known as firkins) during this craft beer festival in Hennessy Park. Tickets start at $10. 2pm to 6pm.
  • Houston Press BrewFest at Silver Street Station | Saturday, April 30 Sample your choice of more than 150 beers and enjoy live music during this annual event hosted by Houston Press. Tickets start at $35. 3pm to 7pm.
  • Mark Flood: Greatest Hits Opening Reception at CAMH | Saturday, April 30 | FREE – 30 years of Houston-based artist Mark Flood’s work will be on view during this exhibit at CAMH. Get a sneak peek at the opening reception. 6:30pm to 9pm.
  • Chris Shepherd’s Korean Fried Chicken Dinner House: A Benefit at Underbelly | Sunday, May 1 – Get a healthy serving of Korean fried chicken or ssamjang-crusted smoked short ribs with all the fixings during this fundraiser for pastry chef Victoria Dearmond’s closest friend.   • Cinco de Mayo at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Sunday, May 1 | FREE – Get an early start on your Cinco de Mayo celebrations with this performance from Los Folkloristas at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 7:30pm.
