- Pizza Day & Super Bowl Weekend Specials at Monkey’s Tail | Thursday to Sunday – The Mexican American kitchen and dive bar in Northside will offer half-off all its pizzas starting on National Pizza Day on Thursday and through Sunday that weekend. The extra large pie is 18 inches and starts at $9.50, with favorite selections including the pastor and barbacoa pizzas. Plus, you’ll also find crawfish specials on Super Bowl Sunday. Times vary.
- Love is in the Air at Market Street | Friday & Saturday | FREE – Keep the Valentine’s festivities going all weekend in the Woodlands and head to Market Street’s Love Is in the Air for a long weekend filled with fun photo ops and live music. 6pm to 8pm.
- The Murder of Madame Valentine: Dinner Theater at the Agatha Theater | Friday & Saturday – In Rosenberg, take in a dinner and a murder mystery show on Valentine’s weekend, complete with a four-course meal from Ol’ Railroad Cafe that you can enjoy while gathering clues to solve the murder of Madame Valentine. $30 an dup. 7pm to 10pm.
- Mardi Gras! Galveston | Friday to Sunday | Ongoing – More than 3 million beads will be thrown at Mardi Gras! Galveston—the third largest Mardi Gras celebration in the U.S. Running through Fat Tuesday, the multi-day festival features 20+ elaborate parades, headliner performances, family events, and plenty of island style feasting opportunities. $14.50 and up; free for ages 12 and under. - Monday Night Retreat at Uptown Lounge | No Cover – Start the week off on a good note and with Uptown Lounge’s drink specials, $11 hookah, and a live DJ spinning music sure to keep the Monday blues at bay. 6pm to 2am.
- Salsa Bachata Lessons for Beginners at Henke & Pillot– It’s a Latin dance extravaganza in Downtown where dancers of all skill levels are welcome to learn the basics of Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, and Salsa from the experts. $15 and up. 7pm to 9:30pm.

- Phat 2uesday at Present Company | FREE with RSVP – It’s Phat Tuesday with a P at Present Company where $2 tacos will be on hand along with tequila, frozen margaritas, plus $100 select tequila bottles. Free with RSVP; includes one free taco. 4pm to midnight.
- Lost Austin Band in Concert at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck – You can find the Texas act, Lost Austin Band, on the Mucky Duck stage in Upper Kirby performing their signature style of Texas Americana. $30 and up. 7pm.
- Groundhog Day Movie Screening at Daiquiri Time Out | No Cover – The first film of the Martini Theater Valentine’s series is the cult classic Groundhog Day at Daiquiri Time Out in Galveston. Enjoy some Bill Murray therapy as well as food from Crazy J’s Food Truck, drinks, trivia, and prizes. 7pm to 11pm.
- Rob Baird in Concert at Main Street Crossing – The Americana singer-songwriter, Memphis-native and Texas transplant is rolling through Tomball and he’s bringing music from his 2022 release, Anthems. $30 and up. 8pm.

- Mix & Mingle Steak Night at Belle Station | No Cover – The Midtown eatery wants you to treat yourself to a delicious cut of steak and some delectable wine for a special hump day. 5pm.
- True Anomaly Beer Dinner at True Anomaly Brewery & Indianola – Take a giant step for your taste buds with a progressive dinner starting at True Anomaly in EaDo, before heading across the street to Indianola for a tasting menu by Chef de Cuisine Martha Wilcox. $85 per person. 5:30pm.
- Houston Cougars vs. Tulsa at Fertitta Center – The No. 3 team in the nation, the Coogs start their final home stretch of games against Tulsa ahead of March Madness action. $15 and up, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 7pm.
- The Black Open Mic & Book Fair at AvantGarden – Natasha Carrizosa hosts this open mic in Montrose, featuring some of the city’s best Black poets. Open to all attend, but signups are reserved for members of the Black community on a first-come, first-served basis. $10. 7:30pm to 10:30pm.
- UnoTheActivist in Concert at Warehouse Live – The young rapper from the ATL is hitting the stage in the H and he’s putting the rap underground on notice. $18 and up. 9pm.

- Galentine’s Chocolate & Wine Pairing at We Olive & Wine Bar – Celebrate your female friendships and sisterhood in the Heights with a guided olive oil tasting, followed by five wines with chocolate pairings. Attendees will also secure 15% off any retail purchases of olive oils, balsamic vinegars and other products. $30 and up. 6pm to 8pm.
- Alaska presents Valentine’s Day is Terrible at House of Blues – If Valentine’s Day is not your bag, try not to be too gagged when the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars, the iconic Alaska commands the House of Blues stage for a wild Anti-Valentine’s show that only Alaska could dream up. $35 and up. 7pm.
- Valentine’s Candlelight Concert at Post Houston’s Z Atrium – Enjoy beautifully sultry music as the Monarch Chamber Players perform an intimate and romantic set by candlelight including Bizet’s “Carmen,” tangos by Astor Piazzolla, works by Debussy, and more. $10. 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
- Marvel Years in Concert at Last Concert Cafe – Take in a night of electronic soul when Marvel Years headlines this concert just north of Downtown, supported by Phyphr and Mothertrucker. $15 and up. 8pm.
- Chase Matthew & Kidd G in Concert at Warehouse Live – The EaDo venue welcomes country pop rappers Chase Matthew and Kidd G on their co-headlining tour across the country. $25 and up. 8pm.

- Opening Night at The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green – A wonderful five weeks of roller skating in the heart of Downtown begins at the Rink where you’ll find Daisies & the Pancakes skate community and instructors showcasing their rolling prowess to the tunes of Yung Chris the DJ. $12; skate rental included. 5pm to 11pm.
- Adam Doleac in Concert at House of Blues – The country music singer-songwriter rolls through Downtown while on his Barstool Whiskey Wonderland Tour. $15 and up. 7pm.
- The Bright Light Social Hour, with People Museum in Concert at Moody Center for the Arts | FREE – Rice University hosts a free outdoor concert, where you can also brows the museum’s latest exhibition after hours. The Austin-based psychedelic rock band, the Bright Light Social Hour, headlines this evening concert, with an opener from New Orleans electronic band People Museum. Free with RSVP. 7pm to 9pm.
- OCA-GH’s Lunar New Year Celebration & Charity Casino at Ocean Palace – Take a spin around the casino at this annual fundraiser for OCA-Greater Houston, where you can enjoy games like blackjack, roulette, Vietnamese and Chinese dice games, plus grab a drink, dinner, and take in raffles and more entertainment at Ocean Palace in Bellaire. Standing casino–only tickets start at $100; Dinner, along with seated casino games, starts at $1,000 for four seats. 7pm to 10:30pm.
- DaCamera presents Cécile McLorin Salvant at Wortham Center – One of contemporary jazz’s most exciting vocalists, the three-time Grammy winner and MacArthur fellow, Cécile McLorin Salvant performs live in Downtown. $42.50 and up. 8pm.
- Solido, with Zenzio in Concert at Rise Rooftop – The Grammy-winning Tejano band, Solido, performs live with an opening set from Zenzio at the Midtown rooftop venue. $20 and up. 9pm.
- Subtronics in Concert at Bayou Music Center – Fresh off the release of his remix album, Antifractals, the Philly dubstep DJ returns to Downtown for a night of headbanging delight. $39.50 and up. 9pm.
- Classic Numbers at Numbers Nightclub – Head to the classic mainstay of Montrose and boogie down to all the best music from ’80s new wave and more. Cover charge at the door. 9pm to 2am.
- Klub Nocturnal presents Rockero Night at House of Blues – Get ready to rock Latin-style when Klub Nocturnal spins Latin alternative music in the heart of Downtown at HOB. $15. 10pm.

- The Biggest Picnic in Texas at Memorial Park | FREE – To celebrate the highly anticipated opening of Memorial Park’s new 100-acre Land Bridge and Prairie, the park will host a free, family-friendly extravaganza featuring food and drinks for purchase, a picnic basket giveaway, live music, face painting, self-guided tours, educational opportunities and more. 10am to 5pm.
- Valentine’s Horror Market Pop Up at Raven Tower – Raven Tower shows you how horror can be so romantic when they put a mischievous spin on Valentine’s celebrations with this pop-up where guests have the opportunity to shop tons of local vendors and meet classic horror celebrities. $5. Noon to 7pm.
- Eureka Heights Queso Bowl at Eureka Heights Brew Co. | No Cover – You’ll be yelling “Eureka!” when you find the best queso recipe at the Heights brewery’s fourth annual Queso Bowl. Free to attend and taste, but must register to participate. 2pm to 5pm.
- ’80s Valentine’s Party with the Spicolis at the Barn at the Frio – The Spicolis are bringing the party to the Barn at the Frio river in Cypress, and they invite everyone to dance the night away to some of the best tunes that came out of one of the very best eras for music. $10 and up. 6pm to 11pm.
- Valentine Twilight Tour at Rienzi – Get a head start on Valentines’ celebrations with a twilight visit to the majestic Rienzi grounds where you can enjoy a romantic evening filled with live music, light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and docents that can enlighten you on European Decorative Arts. $40. 6pm to 8pm.
- A Valentine Picnic in a Downtown Houston Park – Celebrate the Feast of Saint Valentine with a quaint, romantic picnic spread in the heart of the city while Houston singer-songwriter Ermelinda Cuellar serenades all attendees. - The Riot Comedy Club presents Brendan Gay at Rudyard’s – The nationally touring comedian offers a keen perspective on minority culture and growing up as a millennial bro when he takes the upstairs mic in Montrose for two shows. $17. 7pm and 9pm.
- Comedian Gary Meikle at the Secret Group – The award-winning Scottish comedian and absolute viral sensation is bringing his “2.5” show to the Secret Group. $25 and up. 8pm.
- Comedy Hub Houston presents Corinne Fisher at Rockefeller’s – Performing two Saturday night shows, the New York-based comedian, writer, actor and podcaster Corinne Fisher brings her insightful perspective and hilarious wit to the Washington Ave stage. $25 and up. 8pm and 10pm.
- Micro Wrestling Federation at SpindleTap Brewery – The MWF is putting on a full-scale, pro wrestling–caliber event at the North Houston brewery. There will be elbows thrown, bear hugs given, body slams and headlocks performed, and the entire cast of characters are under five feet tall. $23.99 and up. 8pm to 10pm.

- Galentine’s Brunch & Floral Workshtop at Ouisie’s Table – The River Oaks stalwart, Ouisie’s Table Restaurant & Gardens, hosts its 3-hour Happy Galentine’s event on the enclosed porch, boasting brunch, sparkling cocktails, sweets, games, and a hands-on class offering tips and tricks for making grand, floral centerpieces. $175; reservations required by Monday, February 6, 2023. 11am.
- Grupo Secretto in Concert at Saengerfest Park – It’s Fiesta Gras at Saengerfest Park in Galveston as Grupo Secretto brings their sultry Latin sound to the annual celebration of culture and Latinidad. $18.50 and up. 11am.
