  • Paper Couture Opening Day at The Printing Museum Scope out a collection of full-sized, paper-based fashions created by origami artist Joan Son at Paper Couture. Drawing inspiration from her original paper doll dress designs from the late ‘50s, Son uses an arsenal of paper techniques to create retro-inspired sculptures that honor both the past and present. $5. 10am.
  • The FOMO Factory Opening at The Galleria Be the first to check out this immersive, playful pop-up experience that aims to bring out your inner child. Located in The Galleria for a limited time, the FOMO Factory features 17 rooms of tastes, sounds, and smells that’ll take you back to iconic moments ranging from the playground to the school dance. $28. 10am to 9pm.
  • Texas Music Festival Orchestra in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | FREE Listen to performances by talented musicians from across the globe during the Texas Music Festival Orchestra at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. 8pm.
  • Grunge Fest at House of Blues Pay tribute to all of your favorite ‘90s rockers with Grunge Fest at House of Blues, featuring a full lineup of tribute grunge bands. You’ll hear from Pearl Gem, Nervana, Alyson Chayns, and Rusted Cage. $15, but limited comped (you only pay the ticketing fee) tickets are available. 7pm.
  • Texas Monthly Live at Wortham Theater Center Experience a live issue of Texas Monthly magazine reimagined as a theatrical performance with music, video, and narration during Texas Monthly Live at Wortham Theater Center. Tickets start at $34, but $20 tickets are available with promocode TMFAMILY7pm.
  • Comedian Steve-O at Houston Improv Burst out laughing at the zany antics and extreme humor of actor, stand-up comedian, and stunt performer Steve-O, when he performs a live show at Houston Improv. Tickets start at $25. 7:30pm.
  • Lany in Concert at Revention Music Center Jam out to a live show by the Los Angeles-based, indie pop trio, Lany, as they take the stage at Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $30. 8pm.
  • The Industrial Evolution Fashion Show at the Other Silo When Worlds Collide Fashion presents an outdoor fashion show and party themed to the Industrial Revolution at the Other Silo, with its original brick walls, exposed iron ducts and metal beams. The show will feature the work of designers Nicholas Nguyen for Mysterious by NPN, Tomas Benitez, and Angel Phan. Tickets are $40. 8:30pm to 10:30pm.
