  • 10th Annual Galveston Restaurant Week | Daily – In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day (and all month long), you can try top dishes at low price points from more than 40 of Galveston’s hottest eateries during Galveston Restaurant Week, ongoing through Sunday, February 28, 2021. Restaurants will feature two-course breakfast, brunch, and lunch options priced between $10 to $20; two- and three-course dinners are priced from $20 to $35. Times and locations vary.
  • 2021 Virtual Lunar New Year Festival | Thursday to Saturday | FREE | Virtual – Usher in the Year of the Ox with musical performances from local artists across the cultural spectrum, cultural dances, food demonstrations, crafts, calligraphy and more during Chinese Community Center’s three-day Virtual Lunar New Year Festival. Times vary.
  • Collect It For The Culture III at GreenStreet in Downtown | Thursday and Sunday – Snap a photo for the gram while checking out more than 30 Texas-based sculptors, photographers, painters and more, that have created a highly Instagrammable experience in a two-story, 23,000 square-foot pop-up gallery space at the third installment of Collect It For The Culture at GreenStreet in Downtown. $20; VIP tickets for two people are $100 and include priority admission.   • Mommy & Daughter Date Night at Sweet & Sassy in Kingwood | Thursday & Friday – Enjoy a lavish evening with your little princess complete with a pink limo ride to an Italian dinner, photos, a party up-do, make up, and even a rose from mom. $37; does not include dinner. Reservations are required, with time slots available both evenings at 5pm, 5:30pm and 6pm.
  • Main Street Theater presents The Book of Magdalene Online | Thursday & Saturday | Virtual – Combining faith with tough love and magic, this contemporary story revolves around Magdalene as she tries to find something that helps her feel alive again following a catastrophic event. The show is pay-what-you-can from $20 to $54. 7:30pm both evenings.
  • Regeneration at Archway Gallery| Friday to Sunday | FREE – Featuring new works in clay, paint, and glass by Carol Berger, Liz Conces Spencer, and Gene Hester, this joint exhibition explores nature’s regenerative force in the face of enormous risks. On display through Thursday, March 4, 2021. Times vary.
  • Love Is at Discovery Green (Canceled) | Friday to Sunday – Make it an extra special Valentine’s Day weekend by tagging along with your special someone in Downtown to check out artist Jim Dine’s The House (Heart) sculpture at Discovery Green, snag a commemorative photo taken by Yahaira Dehill, a personalized Valentine poem from a HSPVA writer, and a discount to The Grove’s special Valentine’s dessert bar. $15 donation.   • Live on the Lawn at Market Street | Friday to Sunday | FREE – Sprawl out on the lawn with a blanket or chair while enjoying a family-friendly outdoor concert from area bands in the heart of The Woodlands at Market Street. Times vary.
  • Musiqa presents Inside/Out Online | Saturday & Sunday | Virtual – Produced in collaboration with Open Dance Project and filmed by local artist James Templeton, this moving digital performance showcases two short dance films, “Moving Pieces” and “Still We Tend”, set to music by Andrew Norman and Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté. Available for streaming from 10am through 10pm on both days.
  • Tab Benoit in Concert at Dosey Doe’s Big Barn | Saturday & Sunday – Tap your toes to the Delta blues sounds of guitarist and singer-songwriter Tab Benoit when he takes the stage at Dosey Doe’s Big Barn for a live set in The Woodlands. $78. Times vary.
  • The Riot Comedy Show: A Valentine’s Day Roast at Rudyard’s British Pub | Saturday & Sunday – Have a laugh at romance’s expense during four weekend shows of comedy for lovers and haters of Cupid’s favorite holiday, featuring Houston comedians Alan Adams and Jeff Joe at Rudyard’s in Montrose. $20 to $80; reserved Date Night tables for two start at $35 and include VIP options; reserved Double Date tables for four are $60. Showtimes vary.

  • The Ensemble Theatre presents I, Too, Am America | Daily | Virtual – In the spirit of poet Langston Hughes, this jazz-infused program celebrates the contributions by Black people to the American culture through music, drama and choreography. $25. Available through Sunday, February 28, 2021.

  • Mayor’s History Makers Awards presented by Comcast: Dr. Beverly Nolan | FREE | Virtual – Commemorate Black History Month during the virtual Mayor’s History Maker Awards which highlights community volunteers, including Dr. Beverly Nolan of the Holocaust Museum Houston, who has dedicated her life to public education and currently serves as the Chair of the Museum’s Education Committee. 9am.
  • Job Fair at Houston Zoo | FREE – Apply for your chance to join the Houston Zoo’s team at a job fair where looking to fulfill placement in fields including, line cooks, prep cooks, foodservice associates, cashiers and more. Booking an appointment in advance is required. 10am to 4pm.
  • Midtown Houston presents Virtual Beats & Eats | FREE | Virtual – Spend your evening enjoying a virtual performance from Mango Punch and DJ Jorge while supporting local restaurants during Midtown Houston’s Beats & Eats party. This month’s featured Eats is Oporto. 6:30pm to 8pm.
  • Drive-In Movie Screening of Almost Famous at Raven Tower Catch one of two live screenings of the Academy Award-winning 2000 film chronicling the coming-of-age tale of a 15-year-old music fan who lands an assignment from Rolling Stone Magazine. $30 per movie, per vehicle. 6:50pm and 9:30pm.
  • Aladdin Movie Screening at Memorial City | FREE – Catch an outdoor screening of Disney’s live-action 2019 remake of its animated classic Aladdin, starring Will Smith as the beloved Genie, at the Square at Memorial City. 7pm to 9pm.
  • Parents Night Out at Republic Gymnastics & Dance in Cypress Drop the kiddos off for a night of gymnastics filled with tumbling and more to embrace the Valentine’s Day evening mom and dad deserve. Ages 3 and up (kids must be potty trained). $23 per child. 7pm to 11pm.
  • Filth: A Stand Up Show at Rudyard’s British Pub – Fall out of your chair laughing during an evening of uncensored comedy from local stand-up comedians where nobody is safe and even the crowd risks getting roasted by the two hosts. This show is not recommended if you are easily offended. $8 in advance; $10 at the door; $40 for a reserved table. 8pm and 10pm.
  • Crazy Rich Asians Movie Screening at Moonstruck Drive-In Cinema in East End Drive up and tune in to experience the hilarious 2018 romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians, about a girl who joins her longtime boyfriend at his best friend’s wedding in Singapore, only to find out that his family is extremely wealthy. $30 per vehicle. 8:30pm.
  • Fox Royale in Concert at The Rustic Downtown | No Cover – Get your indie-rock fix while tapping your foot to the beat of Missouri-based rockers Fox Royale when they bring their energetic sound to the stage at The Rustic in Downtown. 9:30pm to 11pm.
  • Testify: A tribute to Rage Against the Machine at Scout Bar Rock out in Clear Lake to a lively tribute set from Testify, a who will be playing all the hits from political rock band Rage Against the Machine. Freaks on a Leash, a tribute to Korn, opens the show. $10. 10pm.
