  • Wine Dinner at Bistro Provence | Tuesday, October 27 – Bistro Provence is celebrating the birthday of Georges Auguste Escoffier with a special five-course wine dinner. Expect French cuisine like pumpkin soup, duck rillon and stuffed lamb shoulder to be paired with wines from Domaine du Père Caboche. Owner and winemaker Emilie Boisson will be in attendance. $80. 7pm.
  • Whiskey Tasting at Reserve 101 | Tuesday, October 27 – Taste whiskey from the Jim Beam Harvest Collection during this event hosted by national bourbon ambassador Adam Harris at Reserve 101. 100% of proceeds from the tasting benefit Lucky Dog Rescue. $20. 6:30pm.

  • Climbing for Clouded Leopards Fundraiser at Texas Rock Gym | Wednesday, October 28 – Texas Rock Gym invites you to climb, bid on silent auction items, take a yoga class and enjoy Karbach brews during this event with the Houston Zoo. This event raises funds for clouded leopard research and conservation efforts. 5pm to 9pm.
  • Houston Rockets vs Denver Nuggets at Toyota Center | Wednesday, October 28 – Cheer the Rockets on during their first regular season game against the Nuggets at the Toyota Center. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seat on the TicketNetwork resale website. 7pm.
