- The Shatterproof Challenge at DoubleTree Galleria | Tuesday, May 19 – Rappel down 26 stories of the DoubleTree hotel exterior during this extreme event. Participants are required to raise funds that support Shatterproof’s fight against addiction. You must be at least 110lbs to rappel. $55. 8am to 5pm.
- Newsies at the Hobby Center | Tuesday, May 19 to Sunday, May 24 – The theatrical Broadway hit Newsies is coming to a stage near you. Being performed at the Hobby Center, this two time Tony Award-winning musical is inspired by the Newsboys Strike of 1899.
