  • Houston Cinema Arts Festival around Houston | Daily through Thursday, November 19 – Continue to catch screenings of films about artists, the arts and more. Check the schedule for the full roster of events, screenings and more.
  • Houston Rockets Home Games at Toyota Center | Monday, November 16, Wednesday, November 18 and Saturday, November 21 – Cheer for the Rockets as they take on the Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers and the New York Knicks, respectively on their home court at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7pm.
  • Tasting Tour at Sambuca and Lawless | Tuesday, November 17 – Start the evening off with mini tacos and flatbread at Lawless and then head downstairs for a four-course tasting menu paired with Karbach brews. $30. 6pm.
  • Louis Jadot Wine Dinner at Table on Post Oak | Wednesday, November 18 – Make your way through a five-course meal including dishes like slow roasted chicken and honey caramelized pear and Burgundy wine pairings from Louis Jadot. Reservations required. $150 for dinner; $30 for educational event; $170 for both. 5:45pm educational event; 7pm dinner.
  • Last Comic Standing Tour at Revention Music Center | Wednesday, November 18 – Watch bits from contestants of the NBC show Last Comic Standing during their live tour, which will hit Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $29.50 including ticket fees, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 8pm.
  • Debut of Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo | Starts Friday, November 20 – Explore the zoo at night and sip hot chocolate under two million Christmas lights as the popular Houston holiday activity returns. The event continues nightly through Saturday, January 9, 2016, so there’s plenty of time. $20. 6pm
  • James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner at Quattro | Saturday, November 21 Indulge in a five-course meal prepared by award-winning chefs like Robert Del Grande, Hugo Ortega and Marie LeNôtre during this special dinner at the Four Seasons restaurant Quattro. Reservations required. $150 per person. 6:30pm.
  • Via Colori Street Painting Festival at Hermann Square | Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22 | FREE – The Downtown street painting festival is back for its tenth year bringing art, music, food and drinks to Hermann Square over two days. 10am to 6pm Saturday; 10am to 5pm Sunday.
  • Houston Texans vs New York Jets at NRG Stadium | Sunday, November 22 – Get loud for the Texans during their home game against the Jets at NRG. Tickets start at $97, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Noon.
  • Bands on the Bayou at Blue Bar | Sunday, November 22 – Hear live music from Blue Grooves while enjoying drink specials and small plates during Bands on the Bayou. 3pm to 6pm.
