Check out films that celebrate art during the Houston Cinema Arts Festival from Thursday, November 12 to Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Now in its seventh year, the Houston Cinema Arts Festival (HCAF) brings films that focus on the arts to venues around Houston for eight days of viewing pleasure.

The Festival

This year, the curated festival features more than 60 screenings and special events including Meet the Makers Brunch, Artist Talks and the Cinema Arts Celebration. Enjoy a live music performance or an art exhibition to enhance your viewing experience, or get dolled up for a red carpet premiere.

The Films

HCAF15 features many films that have a live music or art exhibition component, several that focus on architecture and an entire category dedicated to CineSpace, which highlights films with NASA footage. Expect to see films that range from shorts to documentaries and everything in between. Don’t miss standouts like Carol, Krisha – the film that will earn director Trey Edward Shults the first ever Levantine Cinema Arts Emerging Artist Award – and Youth.
