- Karbachtoberfest at Karbach Brewing Company | Daily – Karbach Brewing Company is hosting their own version of Oktoberfest offering live music, German fare, Karbachtoberfest from the tap, stein holding and best attire competitions. Glass mugs and ceramic steins available for an additional fee. All day.
- Peter Pan at The Threesixty Theatre | Daily – Experience Neverland in a whole new way as the cast of Peter Pan performs in the Threesixty Theatre – a partial tent, partial theatre structure with a circular stage and seating from every angle. Tickets start at $31.65 including ticket fees, but discounted tickets are available for select shows or you may find cheaper or better seats on the TicketNetwork resale market. 7:30pm Thursday and Friday; 11:30am, 3:30pm and 7:30pm Saturday; 1:30pm and 5:30pm Sunday.
- Pink Elephant Sale at Bayou City Event Center | Friday and Saturday – Look through home decor, furniture, clothing and more from the members of the River Oaks Garden Club during the 64th Annual Pink Elephant Sale. $1 admission. 9am to 4pm Friday; 9am to 1pm Saturday.
- Honky Tonk Angels at Stages Repertory Theatre | Friday to Sunday – Take in cabaret performance of country music’s most legendary and icon female performers, including classics from Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette and Tanya Tucker. $36 to $45; limited comped (you just pay ticketing fees) and discounted $22.50 tickets available. Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 3pm.
- Emanuel Ax Plays Brahms at Jones Hall | Friday to Sunday – The Houston Symphony welcomes award winning pianist Emanuel Ax for a performance of Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 during this show at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $25. 8pm Friday and Saturday; 2:30pm Sunday.
- Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo | Friday to Sunday – Get your family-friendly costumes on and take the little ones trick-or-treating at the zoo, with special Halloween exhibits and activities. Including with zoo admission. Fridays 9am to 1pm; Saturdays and Sundays 9am to 4pm.
- You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at The Kaleidoscope | Saturday and Sunday –Explore the world of Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts characters as Bayou City Theatrics stages their own take on the legendary heartwarming off-Broadway musical featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and the rest of the gang. $35; limited discounted $17.50 tickets available. Showtimes vary.
- Artoberfest in Galveston | Saturday and Sunday – Explore the work of more than 100 artists on display in the historic Downtown Galveston during Artoberfest. $5 per day in advance. 10am to 6pm Saturday; 10am to 5pm Sunday.
- Wings Over Houston Air Show at Ellington Field | Saturday and Sunday – See two days of high flying action – featuring aviation tricks from the likes of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, VFA-122 Super Hornet Demonstration Team, Breitling Jet Team and the Texas Flying Legends – during the Wings Over Houston Air Show. $17.50; $4 for kids 6 to 11; free for kids 5 and under. 8am to 6pm both days.
- Bike Around the Bay in Galveston | Saturday and Sunday – Ride around the bay – biking 170 miles – during this annual event that benefits the Galveston Bay Foundation. $100. 7:30am Saturday.
- Pet Fest in Old Town Spring | Saturday and Sunday – Bring your furry friends to Old Town Spring for cake walks, pet costume contests and wiener dog races during Pet Fest. 10am to 5pm Saturday; 11am to 5pm Sunday.
- Pin It Holiday in The Woodlands | Saturday and Sunday | FREE to Attend – Find all of your favorite Pinterest projects while shopping at the Pin In Holiday event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. 10am to 5pm Saturday; 11am to 5pm Sunday.
