- The Galleria’s Annual Tree Lighting and Ice Spectacular | FREE – Don’t miss the lighting of The Galleria’s 55-foot Christmas tree complete with a performance from The Voice finalist Mary Sarah and ice skating routines. Noon to 7pm.
- Houston Cellar Classic Grand Tasting at The Tasting Room Uptown Park – Sample more than 100 wines from around the world, nosh on bites from local chefs, and purchase bottles at special pricing while enjoying live tunes at this annual event. The Houston Cellar Classic benefits Genysys Works Houston. Tickets start at $75, not including ticket fees. 1pm to 5pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs at Toyota Center – Cheer loud for the Rockets when they hit the court to play the Spurs at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $20, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 7pm.
- Grease Screening at Discovery Green | FREE – Spend the evening with Sandy, Danny, Rizzo, Kenickie, and the rest of the gang when Grease is shown at Discovery Green. 7pm to 10pm.
- Robert Ellis in Concert at The Orange Show – Watch country singer-songwriter Robert Ellis perform live at this concert at The Orange Show. Tickets start at $20, not including ticket fees. 7pm to 11pm.
- iLuminate at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – iLuminate brings together light, art, music, and technology for an adventurous story that will be performed under the stars at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 7:30pm.

- Cruz Azul vs. Pumas UNAM at BBVA Compass Stadium – Get your tickets to watch Cruz Azul and Pumas UNAM – two of Mexico’s largest soccer clubs – go head-to-head in this friendly game at BBVA Compass Stadium.
