- Online Orders & Drive-Through Service at Urban Harvest Farmers Market – Place your order in advance through the popular weekly market’s vendors, and your fresh produce and food products will be awaiting you at a new drive through pick-up location. The open air market is also operating, with social distancing and many safety precautions enforced. Pick-up 8:30am to 11:30am; Market 8am to noon.
- Virtual Galveston Historic Homes Tour Online & Facebook Live | FREE – Galveston Historical Foundation’s popular annual home tour is going virtual this year, with live-streamed tours of four stunning island homes, expert architecture calls, and special presentations. The tours are free to view, and a $30 (or whatever you prefer) donation is encouraged. 1pm to 5pm.
- Encore Music Studio presents Adult Virtual Piano Lessons on Facebook Live | FREE – Learn to play keys when Encore Music Studio offers virtual piano lessons for adults and teens ages 14 and up via Facebook Live. The event will be held live online on Encore Music Studio’s Facebook page. No in-person attendance. 3pm to 3:30pm.
- Saint Arnold Brewing Company presents Headliner Happy Hour: Hayes Carll in Concert on Facebook Live | FREE – Catch a live performance by Texas musician, Hayes Carll, in Saint Arnold’s recurring happy hour series named for its Headliner blond ale. The show is free and donations to Houston Music Foundation, helping provide financial support to out-of-work Houston musicians, are encouraged. 5pm.
- Market Square Park presents Virtual Blanket Bingo on BingoMaker.com | FREE – Downtown’s massively popular season event launches a virtual kickoff of its summer season, with online games hosted by Mills McCoin. It’s free to play, but all donations to help Houston Shift Meal provide meals to out-of-work restaurant workers will be matched by Houston’s Downtown District. 5pm to 7pm.
- Kam Franklin’s Live Stream Concert on Facebook Live | FREE – The Suffers lead singer and musician, Kam Franklin, is performing a live, solo concert featuring covers, songs by The Suffers, and even some requests. The live stream will happen every Saturday, through April. This event will be held online on The Suffers’ Facebook page. No in-person attendance. 8pm.

- MFAH presents Yoga Classes on Facebook Live | FREE – Join the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Black Swan Yoga for a live yoga class on Facebook Live. Each week will feature a new instructor. This event will be held online on MFAH’s Facebook Page. 11am to 11:45am.
- LSFM presents The Fight to the Finish Flyover in the Skies Above Houston | FREE – Lone Star Flight Museum (LSFM) and its supporting partners will commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) and the end of World War II in Europe with a flight of almost 30 rare and historic warbirds over Houston. This epic aviation event, the Flight to Finish Flyover, will encourage everyone to step outside and enjoy a moment of patriotic distraction and marvel at the rare WWII warbirds flying overhead from the safety of their own homes. Lone Star Flight Museum, and its parking lot, will not be open to the public. This event was postponed from its original date on Friday, May 8, due to inclement weather. Approximately 2pm; flight times will be updated.
- Nature Discovery Center presents Eric’s Animal Spotlight on Facebook Live | FREE – Nature Discovery Center’s head naturalist, Eric Duran, spotlights the center’s ambassador animals, animal specimens, and other creatures in a weekly Sunday afternoon series of videos. Once they’ve aired, Eric’s Animal Spotlight Videos will remain on Facebook for later viewing. Admission The videos are free to view. 4pm to 4:30pm.
