• 2023 Lemonade Dash 5K & 10K at Karbach Brewing Co. – Dash towards a sweet and sour finish at the family-friendly Lemonade Dash, where participants will pound some pavement in 5K, 10K and Kids K lengths. Stick around after the race for a party with food, drink, music and more fun for the whole family. All will receive a Lemonade Dash finisher medal and t-shirt. $20 and up for Kids K, $40 and up for other race lengths. 7:30am.
• Connected Class Series with Donna Crump at the DeLuxe Theater | FREE – Join artist Donna Crump for a community dance and movement workshop at the historic DeLuxe Theater located in the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District. 10am.
• Beer Olympics at Spindletap Brewery – Start your weekend facing athletic feats as a team when the North Houston brewery kicks off a day of party games with tasty beer and grub. $40 per team; or $10 per person. 10:30am.
• Children’s Day Celebration at Czech Center Museum Houston – The whole family is invited to the Czech Center’s Children’s Day Celebration, featuring a day of activities like yoga sessions for kids, a pizza lunch, Czech language Bingo, a kolache eating contest, scavenger hunt and more. Adults are $10; $7 for ages 12 to 15; $5 for ages 11 and under; free for ages under 1. 10:30am to 2:30pm.
• Artist Boat’s World Ocean Day Festival at R.A Apffel Beach Park | FREE – On the edge of East Beach in Galveston, Artist Boat celebrates World Ocean Day with hands-on activities, Eco-Art workshops and Bucket Brigade tours, plus live entertainment on the main stage. 11am to 4:30pm.
• Vibe Artisan Market at Post Houston | FREE – Head over to Post Houston’s X Atrium for over 120 local artists, creatives, and makers, a live DJ, complimentary cocktails, over 20 concept restaurants, and more. 11am to 5pm.

Houston’s oldest craft brewery celebrates 29 years with an open-to-all bash in the garden and festivities all day. Enjoy special variants of the Banger IPA, commemorative birthday glassware, and a lineup of musicians performing hip-hop, Latin hits and yacht rock.

• Juneteenth Family Fun Day at Emancipation Park | FREE – This inaugural celebration brings together several Black communities of Houston for a joyous celebration of culture, the pioneers of Juneteenth and community jubilee. • Rosé Day Brunch at Brasserie 19 – The annual National Rosé Day celebration will feature themed cocktails, “brunch-sized” bottles of Rosé, and special menu items, photo moments, raffles, and more. Reservations recommended. Noon to 3pm.
• 2nd Annual Mocha Man Style Men’s Health Fair & Expo at Gite Gallery | FREE – In recognition of Men’s Health Month, this free event offers health screenings and information from healthcare providers, plus free food and beverages, chair massages, entertainment, activities and more. Open to all men and the women and children who love them, the event will also feature raffles of gift cards, men’s grooming products and more. 2pm to 6pm.

• Third Coast PrideFest Pub Crawl on the Strand in Galveston – Downtown Galveston is the site for Third Coast PrideFest’s pub crawl that kicks off at Murphy’s Pub in the late afternoon, ending at Sound Bar, with several stops along the way. $30. 4:30pm to 9:30pm.

Western Conference foes come to visit on Pride Night, where the Dynamo will celebrate Houston’s LGBTQ+ community.

• 2nd Saturday: Little Big League at Tomball Railroad Depot Plaza | FREE – Head to the Tomball Railroad Depot Plaza to see the 1994 family sports film, Little Big League, about a 12-year-old who suddenly becomes the owner and manager of the Minnesota Twins baseball team. 6pm.
• The Secret Garden at Houston Botanic Garden – Hosted by the Garden’s young professionals group, the Bloomers, this social event invites all to enjoy Tex-Mex, themed cocktails and discover a flower crown activity, a fortune teller, and more. $75. 6:30pm to 9pm.
• Axiom Quartet presents Open Source at First Congregational Church – Head to the Memorial-area church for the world premiere of Open Source, an original work composed by Karl Blench, with libretto written by Jacqui Sutton and sung by guest bass-baritone Timothy Jones. To follow that up, they’ll perform Beethoven’s powerful String Quartet, Op 130. Free for ages 18 and under; suggested donation of $20. 7pm.
• Koe Wetzel in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – The country rock star most recently dropped his studio album, Hell Paso, which rose to No. 3 on the charts, and now he’ll come through the Woodlands for a raucous concert. $45 and up. 7pm.
• Houston Dynamo FC vs. LAFC at Shell Energy Stadium – Western Conference foes come to visit on Pride Night, where the Dynamo will celebrate Houston’s LGBTQ+ community. $25 and up. 7:30pm.
• Sugar Land Junior Superstar Competition at Sugar Land Town Square | FREE – Pack up your lawn chairs and head to Sugar Land Town Square to cheer on each talented contestant as they belt it out to win the crown at the Sugar Land Junior Superstar Competition. 7:30pm to 9pm.

• Bronco in Concert at Arena Theatre – The legendary Mexican grupero band is bringing their fire regional Mexican music to Southwest Houston when they hit the stage for a high-energy set. $95 and up. 8:30pm.
• Play RnB: ’90s vs. 00s at Warehouse Live – Hear hits from the ’90s and early 2000s with sets from DJ Reino, DJ Ciciondarox, and MC Kodak in EaDo. $15 and up. 9pm.
• Bad Bunny vs. Feid at Rise Rooftop – This reggaeton dance party in Midtown pits the music of Bad Bunny against Feid, with plenty more hits on offer. $25 and up. 9pm to 2am.

• GCVA Beach Volleyball Tournament at Galveston’s East Beach – The third match of the seven-match tournament is upon us, and the largest outdoor volleyball association on the third coast invites you to watch and join in on the fun as all ages and skill levels are welcome to sign up and participate. • Yoga on the Lawn at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center – Taught by Carolina Vennie of Yogaleena, this Vinyasa flow class is accessible to all levels and offers a relaxing way to stretch into Sunday. $15. 9am.
• Galveston Family Beach Challenge at Stewart Beach | FREE – The annual beach challenge returns to the shores of Galveston, sending families and friends through 14 stations where they’ll compete against other participating families for a chance to win up to $2,000 in prizes. Stations are designed for ages 8 and up. Registration required. 11am to 3:30pm.
• Our Stories Belong at the Montrose Center | FREE – Partnering with Brave Little Company and Holocaust Museum Houston, the Montrose Center offers this rainbow storytime for kids, packed with creative activities ideal for ages 5 to 10. Noon to 1:30pm.
• Summer Vibe Artisan Market at Megaton Brewery | FREE – The Kingwood brewery’s annual artisan market features more than 80 local artists, creatives, makers, live music, food trucks, and more. Noon to 5pm.
• The Ultimate Houston Reverse Drag Brunch at Big Brother Big Sister Event Center – Hilarious drag queens Flawless Oz, Foxy Mon’Ro and Symphony McKnight Capri highlight this all-day event just outside of Downtown, featuring Southern and Caribbean fusion cuisine, mimosa towers, signature cocktails, and jams by DJ Rocabye. $10 and up. Noon to 7pm.

• BBQ & Book Signing Event at Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar | No Cover – Co-owner and Chef Aaron Franklin will be heading to Loro in the Heights to celebrate the release of his third book, Franklin Smoke. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary book signing alongside smoked Pulled Pork and Chopped Brisket Sliders for purchase. The first 50 guests will also receive a free signed copy of the book. Reserve a spot online. 2pm to 5pm.
• Pride Family Festival at Galveston Island Brewing | FREE – Held just blocks from Seawall Boulevard, this family festival celebrates Pride Month with a day of Bingo, face painting and more, plus prizes and a day of fundraising. 2pm to 5pm.

• USPA NYTS Tournament presented by Bill Fick Ford at Houston Polo Club – The spring polo season comes to close with an exciting doubleheader featuring four teams going head-to-head to win it all. $35; $15.50 for ages 12 and under. Boxes for 2 to 20 guests range from $89 to $895. 6pm.
• Houston Dash vs. NY/NJ Gotham at Shell Energy Stadium – The Dash host the ladies from both sides of the Hudson on a special Pride Night at the EaDo stadium. $10 and up. 6pm.
