- 2023 Lemonade Dash 5K & 10K at Karbach Brewing Co. – Dash towards a sweet and sour finish at the family-friendly Lemonade Dash, where participants will pound some pavement in 5K, 10K and Kids K lengths. - Connected Class Series with Donna Crump at the DeLuxe Theater | FREE – Join artist Donna Crump for a community dance and movement workshop at the historic DeLuxe Theater located in the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District. 10am.
- Beer Olympics at Spindletap Brewery – Start your weekend facing athletic feats as a team when the North Houston brewery kicks off a day of party games with tasty beer and grub. $40 per team; or $10 per person. 10:30am.
- Children’s Day Celebration at Czech Center Museum Houston – The whole family is invited to the Czech Center’s Children’s Day Celebration, featuring a day of activities like yoga sessions for kids, a pizza lunch, Czech language Bingo, a kolache eating contest, scavenger hunt and more. - Artist Boat’s World Ocean Day Festival at R.A Apffel Beach Park | FREE – On the edge of East Beach in Galveston, Artist Boat celebrates World Ocean Day with hands-on activities, Eco-Art workshops and Bucket Brigade tours, plus live entertainment on the main stage. 11am to 4:30pm.
- Vibe Artisan Market at Post Houston | FREE – Head over to Post Houston’s X Atrium for over 120 local artists, creatives, and makers, a live DJ, complimentary cocktails, over 20 concept restaurants, and more. 11am to 5pm.

- 2nd Annual Mocha Man Style Men’s Health Fair & Expo at Gite Gallery | FREE – In recognition of Men’s Health Month, this free event offers health screenings and information from healthcare providers, plus free food and beverages, chair massages, entertainment, activities and more. - The Secret Garden at Houston Botanic Garden – Hosted by the Garden’s young professionals group, the Bloomers, this social event invites all to enjoy Tex-Mex, themed cocktails and discover a flower crown activity, a fortune teller, and more. $75. 6:30pm to 9pm.
- Axiom Quartet presents Open Source at First Congregational Church – Head to the Memorial-area church for the world premiere of Open Source, an original work composed by Karl Blench, with libretto written by Jacqui Sutton and sung by guest bass-baritone Timothy Jones. To follow that up, they’ll perform Beethoven’s powerful String Quartet, Op 130. Free for ages 18 and under; suggested donation of $20. 7pm.
- Koe Wetzel in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – The country rock star most recently dropped his studio album, Hell Paso, which rose to No. 3 on the charts, and now he’ll come through the Woodlands for a raucous concert. $45 and up. 7pm.
- Houston Dynamo FC vs. LAFC at Shell Energy Stadium – Western Conference foes come to visit on Pride Night, where the Dynamo will celebrate Houston’s LGBTQ+ community. $25 and up. 7:30pm.
- Sugar Land Junior Superstar Competition at Sugar Land Town Square | FREE – Pack up your lawn chairs and head to Sugar Land Town Square to cheer on each talented contestant as they belt it out to win the crown at the Sugar Land Junior Superstar Competition. 7:30pm to 9pm.

- GCVA Beach Volleyball Tournament at Galveston’s East Beach – The third match of the seven-match tournament is upon us, and the largest outdoor volleyball association on the third coast invites you to watch and join in on the fun as all ages and skill levels are welcome to sign up and participate. - Yoga on the Lawn at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center – Taught by Carolina Vennie of Yogaleena, this Vinyasa flow class is accessible to all levels and offers a relaxing way to stretch into Sunday. $15. 9am.
- Galveston Family Beach Challenge at Stewart Beach | FREE – The annual beach challenge returns to the shores of Galveston, sending families and friends through 14 stations where they’ll compete against other participating families for a chance to win up to $2,000 in prizes.
