- Hangar Hang Out at CAF Houston Wing Museum & Hangar | FREE – Land at the Hangar on the first and third Saturday of each month to explore the collection of World War II-era aircraft, as well as unique memorabilia and artifacts. 10am to 3pm.
- Opening Day for Found Objects at Archway Gallery | FREE – Change your perspective while checking out the stunning sculptures of artist Joe Haden Hale when Archway Gallery in Montrose hosts a debut of Hale’s new exhibition, Found Objects, with the artist present to talk about his metal cutting techniques, object transformation, use of negative space and more. This exhibition is on view through Wednesday, July 7, 2021. 10am to 6pm.
- Basement To Attic Tours of the 1892 Bishop’s Palace – Get a unique view of Galveston history with a top-to-bottom look at a historic landmark that includes areas that would be typically off-limits. $30 and tours are limited to eight people. 11am to 12:30pm.
- HOH To Go: Quilted Magnets at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft | FREE | Virtual – Mix and match a selection of fabric to create your own uniquely patterned magnet, inspired by quilting blocks and the the rich traditions of West African textiles present in the work of resident HCCC artist, Joy O. Ude. To-go kits can be picked up at HCCC from 11am to 1pm, followed by a livestream demonstration by Joy O. Ude on HCCC’s Facebook Live page at 2pm.
- 2021 Beer Olympics at SpindleTap Brewery – Experience a full day of field activities, party games, and, of course, delicious local brew when Spindletop Brewery hosts its 2021 Beer Olympics. $5. 11am to 3pm.
- Crawfish Boil at B.B. Lemon – Berg Hospitality’s own NOLA native, Jeff Baron, will be cooking up crawfish served with potatoes, sausage and corn on the patio alongside live DJ music and the kitchen’s regular brunch menu. $12.99 per pound (two-pound minimum). Reservations are recommended. 11am to 3pm.
- 6th Annual Heads ‘N’ Tails Crawfish Fest at Grooves of Houston – Featuring DJ Mannie Fresh, Brian Jack & The Zydeco Gamblers, and some of Houston’s finest DJs, plus mudbugs, food, and drink available for purchase, the 6th Annual Heads ‘N’ Tails Crawfish Fest is going down all day at Grooves of Houston in Third Ward. General admission is free until 4pm (free ticket required), $10 after with expedited entry; four pounds of crawfish are $20; VIP packages available. 11am to 10pm.
- Texas Taco, Tequila, and Music Festival in Conroe – Bring the family out for a day filled with delicious tacos and margaritas for the grownups. Check out a lineup of live performances, set the kiddos loose in the kids zone, ride carnival rides, and more. Tickets start at $10. Noon.
- FotoFest presents Virtual Exhibition Tour of Public Life: Recording the Blur | FREE | Virtual – Join FotoFest executive director Steven Evans along with associate curator Max Fields, for a virtual tour of works by Francis Almendárez, Yan Wang Preston, Lindokuhle Sobekwa, and Kara Springer from their public art exhibition, Public Life: Recording the Blur. This event will be held online via Zoom and YouTube Live. Noon to 1pm.
- Pop Up Market at Texas Leaguer Brewing Company | No Cover – Shop from a variety of local artisans and vendors while sipping on delicious suds in the heart of Missouri City during an outdoor Pop Up Market at Texas Leaguer Brewing Company. Noon to 5pm.
- Open Studio: Postcard Collage at CAMH | FREE – Reconnect with your family and friends by creating a small postcard-size collage to send via snail mail when CAMH hosts an event inspired by the Teen Council-curated exhibition, Turn On, Tune In, Tap Out in Montrose. 1pm to 4pm.
- Suit Up Trivia Pub Crawl at Henke & Pillot | No Cover – Suit up and flex your knowledge of How I Met Your Mother-themed trivia when Henke & Pilot host a night of television and pub crawl fun for cash prizes in Downtown. 3pm to 9pm.
- Celebrate and Stop the Hate at Social Beer Garden HTX | FREE – Immerse yourself in Asian culture during an evening event featuring food trucks, a locally-owned Asian vendor market, lion dance performances, local K-pop DJs, kids crafts, a raffle, and more at Social Beer Garden in Midtown. 4pm to 10pm.
- AAPI Amplified at Avenida Houston | No Cover | Canceled – [6/3/21: Please note that organizers have canceled this event.] Rescheduled from Saturday, May 22 due to inclement weather, this Asian American Pacific Islander festival brings together cultural performances, a fashion show, a pop-up market with Asian-owned businesses, food trucks, and more at Avenida Houston in Downtown. 5pm to 8:30pm.
- First Saturday Arts Market in The Heights | No Cover – Normally held on the first Saturday of each month, but rescheduled due to weather, this market on 19th Street invites visitors to shop artisan goods and artworks from local artists and vendors. There will be free live music, plus food truck bites, beer and vino available for purchase. 6pm to 10pm.
- Thorn & Moon Magickal Market: Midsummer Masquerade at Raven Tower | No Cover – Get all dressed up as your favorite mythical woodland creature when Raven Tower in the Heights hosts the Midsummer Masquerade Party and Market, featuring a performance by Two Star Symphony and Bewitched Burlesque. 6pm to 11pm.
- Archway Gallery’s Virtual Opening & Artist Talk for Found Objects | FREE | Virtual – Feast your eyes on day-to-day objects transformed through sculpture, when Archway Gallery presents a virtual opening for artist Joe Haden Hale’s new exhibition, Found Objects, as Hale discusses his process, cutting technique, use of light and shadow and more. - Carolina Story at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck | Virtual Option – The married Americana duo known as Carolina Story visits the Mucky Duck in Upper Kirby for an evening of music from their latest album, Dandelion. $60 for 2 to $240 for 8; a virtual ticket is $30 and the livestream will be viewable on the Mucky Duck YouTube page. 7pm.
- Houston SaberCats vs. Austin Gilgronis at Aveva Stadium – In South Houston, the SaberCats will meet tough competition from out of Austin as the Major League Rugby season draws to a close. $15; $8 for ages 8 to 15. 7pm.
- Summer Luau: A Night in Margaritaville at Sugar Land Town Square | FREE – Say aloha to tropical paradise when Sugar Land Town Square transforms into an oasis, featuring live music from Hanna’s Reef and performances from the hula and fire dancers of Malia’s Hula Hut. 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

- Cars and Coffee for a Cause at Market Street in the Woodlands | FREE – The Woodlands Car Club presents its monthly Cars & Coffee for a Cause at Market Street, featuring a Sunday morning display of beautiful automobiles and classic cars. The event also raises money for local charities as part of Market Street’s Change for Charity program. 7am to 10am.
- Bazaar on the Bayou: Outdoor Summer Market at White Oak Music Hall | No Cover – Start your Sunday off by browsing from plenty of vendors selling art, vintage, clothing, and more at the outdoor Bazaar on the Bayou market at White Oak Music Hall in the Heights. 10am to 5pm.
- Welcome to the Block Color Run 5k at Redemption Square | FREE – Get pelted with pigment at this inaugural “Welcome to the Block” 5K Color Run, featuring live music, face painting, and more at Redemption Square in Northeast Houston. Free to register. 10:30am.
- To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar Movie Screening and Brunch at Alamo Drafthouse – Watch a screening of the 1995 movie starring Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo as drag queens, while enjoying a delicious brunch at Alamo Drafthouse in Katy. $8.50. 11am.
- Jamal Cyrus: The End of My Beginning Opening Reception at Blaffer Art Museum | FREE – In partnership with Texas Southern University, Blaffer Art Museum examines approximately 50 objects, images, and installations produced throughout the 15-year career by the Houston-based artist, Jamal Cyrus. Space is limited so registration is required. Noon to 2pm.
- Hip-Hop Vintage Flea Market at Houston Graffiti Park | No Cover – Held just outside of Downtown at the Houston Graffiti Building campus, this family-friendly market deals in Hip Hop culture, with local resellers and small businesses offering hip hop-influenced apparel, art, and more. This event marks its final market at the Leeland Street location before returning after a summer break. Noon to 5pm.
- Virtual Kids’ Cooking Class with Underbelly Hospitality – Chef Ben Snellenberger, sous chef at Georgia James and new parent, will be hosting a kids’ cooking class in time to learn some new skills for summer including Chris Shepherd’s Bacon Sausage to make pigs in a blanket, alongside other snacks and desserts. Kits are $45 and feeds 3 to 4 kids; available for pick-up on Saturday, June 5 between noon and 3pm. Virtual class begins Sunday at 1pm.
- DJ Wax Motif at Clé Houston – Welcome to the stage Australian electronic musician, DJ, and producer, Wax Motif, when he stops through Clé Houston in Midtown to spin some tracks. $10. 2pm to 8pm.

- Tiffany in Concert at Dosey Doe: The Big Barn – Known for her hit song “I Think We’re Alone Now”, ’80s pop singer Tiffany returns to Texas to perform live at Dosey Doe: The Big Barn in The Woodlands. $68 to $128. 7pm.
- MyOhMy Drag Show at Warehouse Live – Rejoice for the return engagement of Texas’ biggest touring drag show, MyOhMy: The Show when Warehouse Live in EaDo hosts the touring show featuring elaborate costumes, great music, and fantastic performers. $10 to $300. Doors at 6:30pm; show at 7:30pm.
