- Dancin’ in the Street… Motown & More Revue at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Daily – Groove on down to funky tunes and cover songs by a variety of tribute bands at the 23rd annual more revue, presented by Miller Outdoor Theatre. 8:15pm nightly.
- Shakespeare in Vegas at Studio 101 | Daily – Meet Margot, a struggling actress in New York City, who blindly accepts a role in a full season of Shakespearean plays with only one catch: the show is based in Las Vegas. Presented by 4th Wall Theatre Company, Shakespeare in Vegas is a laugh-out loud comedy full of surprises. Tickets start at $17. Showtimes vary.
- Daddy Long Legs at Main Street Theater | Daily – See a musical performance based on the treasured novel, Daddy Long Legs, at Main Street Theatre. The two-person show follows a classic “rags-to-riches” love story of a bright young woman and her mysterious benefactor. Tickets start at $10. Showtimes vary.
- Memorial Day Remembrance at George Ranch Historical Park | Saturday and Monday – Enjoy a special Memorial Day Remembrance at the George Ranch Historical Park and discover Memorial Day’s historic roots. There will also be a special Memorial Day Lunch. Tickets range from $10 to $15. Cost for the meal is $15 for adults ages 13 and older; $12 for children ages 5 to 12 and $4 for children 4 and under. 9am both days.
- Houston Ballet Academy Spring Showcase at Moores Opera House | Thursday to Saturday – Enjoy a performance by students of the Houston Ballet Academy, as they showcase both new choreography, as well as pieces from classical ballets, in this annual event at the Moores Opera House. Tickets start at $20. 7:30pm.
- Comicpalooza 2018 at George R. Brown Convention Center | Friday to Sunday – Meet the stars of your favorite films and TV shows, including Star Trek, Lost, and Marvel’s The Defenders, at Comicpalooza 2018 in George R. - Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Alley Theatre | Friday to Sunday –Imagine Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein walk into a bar and the provocative conversations that would follow, in Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile. - The National Ballet of Ukraine presents Sleeping Beauty at Revention Music Center – Delight in a contemporary interpretation of the quintessential fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty when the National Ballet of Ukraine performs at Houston’s Revention Music Center. - Fourth Friday Night Market in the East End | No Cover – Browse this outdoor, small-business market, featuring items from dozens of visual artists and craft vendors. Located in the Historic East End, the market showcases paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and handcrafted items. 6pm.
- The National Ballet of Ukraine presents Don Quixote at Revention Music Center – Marvel at the graceful dancers from The National Ballet of Ukraine when they perform the classic ballet, Don Quixote, as part of a two-night stop at Revention Music Center. On Thursday, the dance company presents Sleeping Beauty. Tickets start at $41. 7pm.
- Critical Mass Bike Ride at Market Square Park | FREE – Bike through Downtown Houston during this monthly community ride with Critical Mass. 7pm.
- Okkervil River with Special Guest Matt the Electrician in Concert at The Heights Theater – The Austin-based rock band Okkervil River, led by singer-songwriter Will Sheff, returns to Houston to play old hits and new tracks from their recently released album In The Rainbow Rain. Tickets are $20. Doors at 7pm; show at 8pm.
- Leather Goods – Key Chains, Luggage Tags, and Jewelry at Art Cellar Houston – Design and create your own leather goods during this BYOB workshop at Pop Shop America in Art Cellar Houston. Participants will use leather sheets, suede rope, and everything in between to make keychains, luggage tags, and jewelry. $35. 7pm to 9:30pm.
