  • Bubble Run Houston at Sam Houston Race ParkWalk, run, skip, or play through a three-mile course filled with colorful foam and bubbles at Bubble Run Houston in Sam Houston Race Park. Celebrate reaching the finish line with a party featuring music from DJs, free swag, and merchandise available for purchase. Tickets start at $20. 9am.
  • Imperial Farmers Market at Imperial Park Recreation Center | No Cover – Make your way to Imperial Park Recreation Center for the weekly Imperial Farmers Market, where you can shop seasonal produce, grass-fed meats, free-range eggs, local honey, and baked goods. The market also offers local artwork and ready-to-eat food from vendors and food trucks. 9am to 1pm.
  • Avengers Assemble! at the Children’s Museum of HoustonUnleash your superpowers alongside members of the Avengers crew, including Thor, Captain America, and Black Widow, during Avengers Assemble! at Children’s Museum of Houston. $12. 10am to 5pm.
  • Alice! at ProhibitionEnter the fantastical world of Wonderland during Alice!, a newly adapted musical derived from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Arrive early for fun activities like face painting and balloon animals at Conservatory. Tickets are $20, but you may find limited discounted tickets for $10.   • Light of the Phoenix Charity Crawfish Boil at The Phoenix on Westheimer – This first ever family-friendly festival features all-you-can-eat crawdads, a waterslide, a bounce house, snow cones, corn hole games, and more. $25 in advance; $30 at the door includes all-you-can-eat crawfish, corn, and potatoes. Noon to 6pm.
  • FUNomenal Family Festival at Discovery Green | FREE Have a blast at Discovery Green when Academy Sports + Outdoors hosts FUNomenal Family Day, where families can enjoy a Nerf® Blasting Zone, face painting, interactive inflatables, and meet with members of the Houston Texans, Rockets, Dynamo, and Astros. Featured performers include the BSB Drumline, Dazzling Dolls, Pro Status Cheer, and TUTS – The River. 1pm to 5pm.
  • Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Alley Theatre Imagine Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein walk into a bar and the provocative conversations that would follow, in Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Presented by Alley Theatre, this stage play has been called humorous, contemplative, and wholly imaginative. Tickets start at $26. 2:30pm.
  • Live! on the Lawn at Memorial City | FREE Kick back and enjoy live music and street performers at The Lawn greenspace in Memorial City. The rotating roster features interactive entertainment like African drums, belly dancers, DJs and more. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Magic, Music, & Mayhem at La Colombe d’Or Hotel Claim a spot at the intimate La Colombe d’Or Hotel for a stunning show by local magician Ben Jackson in Magic, Music, & Mayhem. Tickets start at $50. 7pm and 9pm.
  • Shake, Rattle & Roll at The Music Box Theatre Take a trip down memory lane at Shake, Rattle & Roll, a throwback concert featuring hit songs from the 1950s at The Music Box Theatre. Tickets start at $29. 7:30pm.
  • The Axiom Quartet in Concert at University of St. Thomas | FREE Hear an enchanting concert from The Axiom Quartet at University of St. Thomas. The local group is known for its programs that mix classical music with new compositions and popular rock, electronic, indie, jazz, and pop influences. 7:30pm.
  • Lit AF Tour at NRG Arena Laugh out loud when some of the biggest names in comedy perform at the Lit AF Tour at NRG Arena. Headliner Martin Lawrence joins fellow comedians Rickey Smiley, Jay Pharoah, Deon Cole, and Benji Brown for a hilarious show. Tickets start at $55. 7:30pm.
  • One Hit Wonders at the Jones Hall for the Performing Arts Dance along to the sounds of your favorite one-it-wonders, as performed by vocalist Storm Large with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall. Expect hits like “Come On, Eileen,” “Take On Me,” and “Walking in Memphis.” Tickets start at $26. 8pm.
  • Chief Keef in Concert at White Oak Music HallJam out to live music from rapper Chief Keef when he takes the stage at White Oak Music Hall. Arrive early to see Vodi, Quiet Company, and BLXPLTN open the show. Tickets start at $20. 9pm.
  • The Late Show: Bathtub Full of Gin at Prohibition SupperclubYou’re in for a sexy, booze-filled evening when the Moonlight Dolls take the stage for this 1920’s show at Prohibition Supperclub. Tickets start at $20, but limited, discounted $10 tickets are available. 11:30pm.
