- Freaky Deaky 2021 at Houston Raceway | Friday & Saturday – Get ready for two nights of costumed EDM fun at this festival taking place in Baytown, featuring headliners Excision and Deadmau5, plus dozens more DJs and pulse-pounding spooky fun. $99.95 for single-day admission; $179.95 for both days. VIP and camping packages are also available. 2pm to 11:30pm both nights.
- Comedian D.L. Hughley at Houston Improv | Friday to Sunday – A legendary comedian, actor, and host of his weekday radio show, D.L. Hughley stops by the Improv for five sets across three nights. $90 for two to $330 for six. Times vary.
- 2021 Halloween Street Party at Eagle Houston | Friday to Sunday | No Cover – The LGBTQ+ friendly bar takes over the surrounding block for a weekend celebration of Halloween, featuring drag shows, DJs, a costume contest, and more. 21+ only. Times vary.
- Halloween Weekend at Numbers Nightclub | Friday to Sunday – The popular Montrose haunt hosts a weekend full of feet-shuffling fun with a Halloween-themed Classic Numbers night on Friday; a Halloween bash on Saturday night with the traditional costume contest, cash prizes, and DJs; and more spooky surprises, costumes and prizes on Halloween Night. - Grand Opening: Halloween Weekend at Sekai Night & Day | Friday to Sunday – Get one of the first looks at Houston’s newest nightlife destination, featuring an immersive audio-visual experience, 26,000 sq ft of indoor/oudoor lounge, complete 1,000 s 10pm to 2am nightly.
- Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo | Daily – Bring the little ghouls and goblins to the Houston Zoo for some age-appropriate Halloween fun. - Halloween Happy House at Children’s Museum Houston | FREE – Bring the kiddos out for a spooky celebration when Radio One takes over Children’s Museum Houston for a free Family Night Halloween bash. 10am to 5pm.
- National First Responders Day at B.B. Lemon – Salute to first responders when B.B. Lemon welcomes all on-duty First Responders (including EMTs, paramedics [public ambulance services only], firefighters, and police officers) for a complimentary 3-course meal during lunch and dinner. Free for first responders; $25 for their guests. 11am.
- Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls Craft at Rosenberg Library in Galveston | FREE – Galveston’s Rosenberg Library hosts a special evening craft, decorating personalized Day of the Dead plaster skulls and discussing the tradition. Due to the intricate nature of the skulls, this activity is recommended for ages 18 and up. 5pm to 7pm.
