Havana Nights 2019: New Year’s Eve Extravaganza – Angelucho’s Cuban New Year’s Eve party returns to ring in 2019 in the Post Oak Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn Sugar Land. All tickets are VIP and include a gourmet buffet dinner, two drinks, and a Champagne toast at midnight. Cuban native Angelucho’s band Copacabana will perform live from 10pm to 2am, with an assist from DJ Yuka Frita. VIP tickets are $99 per person. 7:30pm.

NYE 2019 Bal Masqué II at Houston Decorative Center – Ring in 2019 at a special party pop-up at the stunning Houston Decorative Center on Woodway, just west of Memorial Park. There’s a dinner from 8pm, followed by a party with an open premium bar from 10pm to 2am. You can opt for both, or just choose the dinner or party. Tickets start at $95. Dinner from 8pm to 10pm. Party from 10pm to 2am.

Topgolf’s Big NYE Bash at Topgolf Locations Around Houston – Topgolf is ringing in the New Year by throwing its biggest party of the year at all three of its Greater Houston locations; Houston-Katy, Spring, and Webster. There will be live entertainment, a chef-inspired menu, and a midnight celebration that includes a fireworks show. Reservations are priced by the bay, rather than by the number of people. Bays are $200 each for the night and accommodate up to six people. Bays with the VIP option are $400 each, for up to six people. 9pm.

Black Swan New Year’s Eve Celebration at Omni Hotel Wave goodbye to 2018 in style with an evening of dancing, entertainment and bubbly at the luxe Omni Houston Hotel in the Uptown area. Spend the night at the Omni Hotel with overnight accommodations include tickets for two to The Black Swan night club’s Private New Year’s Eve event, and a bottle of champagne delivered to your guest room. The late check out party will feature a midnight champagne toast, a balloon drop, party favors, a photo booth, and live DJ. 9pm.

Year of the Bo$$ 2K19 NYE Celebration with Slim Thug at House of Blues Roll into 2019 in style at the Year of the Bo$$ 2K19 NYE Celebration with the legendary Houstonian rapper, Slim Thug and friends at the Foundation Room at House of Blues. Enjoy chef-created á la carte items, a lounge menu, and drink specials all night. Along with Slim Thug, the party will be hosted by comedian Jeff Shelly and sounds will be provided by DJ Staso. Tickets are $75 and $150 for VIP. 9pm.

New Year’s Eve at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City Wrap up 2018 and ring in the New Year in extravagant style at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City. Dance the year away while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, an interactive photobooth, and a champagne toast to cap off the midnight countdown. Come dressed to impress in your best cocktail attire and Hotel ZaZa will send you into 2019 with complimentary party favors. 10pm.

All That Glitters 4 NYE Block Party at Lumen Lounge, Crimson & On The Kirb – For the fourth year, Lumen Lounge and its neighbors hosted New Year’s Eve block party at all three locations, plus in pop-up tents. Tickets include complementary drinks, hookahs, ballon drops, confetti cannons, a full wine bar, six DJs spinning top dance hits, performance art with LadyL, aerialists, stilt walkers, and more. Full price tickets are $50, but limited discounted $25 tickets are available. 10pm.

Downtown

  • New Year’s Eve Family Celebration at Downtown Aquarium – Ring in the New Year at the Downtown Aquarium and enjoy fun kid’s activities including a kid’s balloon drop, dance, arty and appearances by Sharkey and Nero, other mascots. Reservations are required. 11am to 5:30pm.
  • The Jazz Age NYE 2019 at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar – Escape to a decadent party at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar as The Moonlight Dolls present to you, The Jazz Age, a modern, glamorous and site-specific collaboration of dance, theatre, and comedy, filled with evocative jazz music, where you can party with the infamous and glittering Lost Generation. Tickets start at $35. There is a 6pm, 8pm, and 11pm dinner and show.
  • Glitz and Gold: New Year’s Eve at Tongue-Cut Sparrow – Welcome the New Year at the stylish Tounge-Cut Sparrow bar located above The Pastry War with champagne and special cocktail menu for the night. Tickets are $125 per person. 6pm to 9pm.
  • New Year’s Eve with Charley Crockett at The Rustic – Spend New Year’s Eve watching a performance from the blues singer Charley Crockett and special guest Jaime Wyatt at The Rustic. Free with RSVP. VIP tickets are $75. 7pm.
  • New Year’s Eve at Howl at the Moon – Howl at the Moon in Midtown hosts its annual New Year’s Eve party. Tickets start at $30 and go up to $125 per person, based on package and arrival time. Depending on occupancy, walk-ins may be admitted for $20 after 10pm. 8pm.
  • New Year’s Eve 2019 at The Secret Group – The Secret Group hosts their New Years Eve party with ticket giveaways to their shows, drink specials and a $1000 balloon drop. Free with RSVP before 11pm; $10 after 11pm; $50 for VIP tickets. 8pm.
  • Brew Year’s Eve at Houston Flying Saucer | No Cover – Houston Flying Saucer in Downtown hosts their Brew Years Eve event with $3 drafts, raffles, party favors and more. Tables are $10 a seat. 8pm.
  • NYE Party at The Crystal Ballroom & Lawless Spirits – The Crystal Ballroom and adjacent Lawless Spirits and Kitchen at Rice Lofts in Downtown hosts its annual, all-inclusive New Year’s Eve party. The 11,000-square foot ballroom overlooks Downtown and features six all-inclusive premium bars, live music from The Slags, DJ, two spacious rooms, a midnight Champagne toast and more. Tickets start at $125. 9pm.

It’s a festive classical concert guaranteed to start 2019 on a high note. Tickets start at $130 and some include pricing for a pre-concert dinner and post-concert gala. 9pm.
  • Bravery World’s Fair: New Year’s Eve at Bravery Chef Hall – Join Houston magazine and Bravery Chef Hall for New Year’s Eve event with food, drinks, and beats by DJ Senega. Tickets are $150. 9pm.
  • New Year’s Party at El Big Bad | No Cover – El Big Bad in Downtown hosts their colorful New Year’s Party with plenty of party favors, balloons, and even a unicorn piñata. 9pm.

Midtown, Montrose, Museum District + Upper Kirby

  • New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Bar Boheme – Bar Boheme hosts their New Year’s Extravaganza with non-stop entertainment from bellydancers, a live DJ, and drag show. $50 minimum spend per person. 4pm.
  • New Year’s Eve 1970’s Disco Party at Mongoose Versus Cobra | No Cover – Put on your platforms and polyester shirts for Mongoose Versus Cobra’s ’70s-themed New Year’s Eve party in Midtown. 4pm.
  • New Year’s Eve 2019 Celebration at Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar – Ring in 2019 with live music from the J-Walkers band, dinner, and a complimentary sparkling toast with a balloon drop and plenty of party favors for everyone at Fielding’s Local Kitchen + Bar. Reservations are recommended. 5pm.
  • New Year’s Eve at Uchi – Make your last meal of the year 2018 a 10-course omakase experience for two at Uchi in Montrose. Tickets are $195 for two. 5pm.
  • NYE Wine Dinner and Annual 1920’s Midnight in Paris Celebration at 13 Celsius – Begin your New Year’s evening with a seated 5-course wine dinner featuring dishes from local chef, Tarsha Gray and then enjoy the 1920’s Midnight in Paris Celebration at 13 Celsius. Parisian 1920’s attire is encouraged. Tickets are $125 for the dinner; $26 to $100 for the Midnight in Paris Celebration. 6pm.
  • NYE Party at Sambuca – Dance your way into 2019 Sambuca with a delicious 3 or 4-course dinner, live music from KAOS, and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets range from $45 to $125. 6pm.
  • NYE at Axelrad | No Cover – Axelrad in Midtown hosts their annual NYE event with 2 stages of live music, visual installations, hammocks, drinks and more. 7pm.
  • Zero Gravity: New Year’s Eve at Gravity – Gravity nightclub hosts an immersive costume party for New Year’s Eve. More details TBA. Admission Cover charge at the door. 9pm.
  • New Year’s Eve at Rich’s Houston Say goodbye to 2018 at the LGBTQ-friendly nightclub, Rich’s in Midtown with 3 different DJs, four different atmospheres to party in, and a cash balloon drop. Tickets range from $10 to $15. 9pm.
  • New Year’s Eve Party at Under the Volcano – Celebrate the New Year with music from the New Orleans-based, Hustlers Brass Band at Under the Volcano. Cover charge at the door. 9pm.
  • New Year’s Eve at Numbers Nightclub – Dance the night away at Numbers Nightclub annual New Year’s Eve party with DJ Wes Wallace spinning ’80s music, party favors, a complimentary champagne toast and a $2019 balloon drop. Cover charge at the door. Reduced cover charge before 10pm. 9pm.
  • Barbs NYE 2019 at Barbarella – Celebrate the New Year with DJ BrandonD playing hits from all decades, champagne and a balloon drop at Barbarella in Midtown. Cover charge at the door. 9pm.
  • New Year’s Eve with Jasmine Masters at Hamburger Mary’s Ring in the new year with a performance from the hilarious Jasmine Masters, a former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 7 and All Stars 4 at Hamburger Mary’s.  There will be a $5 entertainment fee per person added to the check. 9pm.

  • NYE Masquerade Ball at Heights Bier Garten – Heights Bier Garten hosts their New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball with a complimentary mask upon arrival for ladies, $5 glasses of bubbles, a complimentary glass for a midnight toast, and live music from If You Have To Ask. 6pm.
  • A Red Carpet New Year’s Eve at Lincoln Bar Houston – Lincoln Bar hosts a New Year’s party with a red carpet, a balloon drop, catering, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and more. Cover charge is TBA. 7pm.
  • New Year’s Eve Party with Josh Abbott Band at White Oak Music Hall – Celebrate the New Year with a performance from the Texas-based country band, the Josh Abbott Band, at White Oak Music Hall. Tickets range from $25 to $169. 8pm.

River Oaks, Upper Kirby + Rice Village

  • NYE at Bosscat Kitchen & Libations – Spend New Year’s Eve at Bosscat Kitchen & Libations and enjoy a 4 course menu with drink pairings, a live DJ, and a champagne toast at midnight. Cost of the dinner is $75. 6pm.
  • Sober Eve 2018 at The Story Houston – Ring in the New Year at the 2nd annual Sober Eve and enjoy a DJ spinning, lights flashing, and confetti dropping at midnight at The Story Houston. Tickets start at $10. 9pm.

Galleria + Uptown

  • BP NYE 2019 at A.D. Players Theater – The BP New Year’s Eve Celebration rings in 2019 with a concert featuring uptown funk and soul jazz, followed by a lively afterparty. The show features legendary funk group The Zapp Band, and soul jazz flutist Althea Rene. The following afterparty features DJ music, cocktails, food, party favors, a midnight balloon drop, and a champagne toast. Tickets start at $100. 8pm.
  • New Year Party at India House – Say goodbye to 2018 at India House with drinks, dinner, games, live music, and dancing. Tickets range from $20 to $50. 8pm.

  • New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon The LGBTQ-friendly Neon Boots Dancehall & Saloon hosts their 2019 New Year’s Eve Party with a champagne toast, a balloon money drop, party favors, and a complimentary breakfast buffet. Tickets start at $10 in advance; $15 at the door. VIP tickets are available. 4pm.

  • Gatsby’s House: New Year’s Eve 2019 at Omni Houston Hotel – The recently restored Omni Houston Hotel just west of the Loop hosts a roaring ’20s New Year’s Eve party inspired by The Great Gatsby. Tickets include drinks, available at multiple, fully staffed bars. DJs will be playing EDM, Top 40 and more in multiple rooms. There will be a Champagne toast at midnight Roaring ’20s, flapper dresses, and zoot suits are encouraged. Otherwise, semi-formal and cocktail attire is required. General admission tickets start at $159. VIP and hotel stay packages are available. 9pm.
  • 2019 New Year’s Eve Gala at the Red Oak Ballroom – Located in CityCentre, the Red Oak Ballroom hosts another NYE celebration, complete with a DJ tunes, midnight Champagne toast, light show, confetti explosion, party favors, photo booths and more.   • Topgolf’s Big NYE Bash at Topgolf Webster – Topgolf is ringing in the New Year by throwing its biggest party of the year at their Webster location. There will be live entertainment, a chef-inspired menu, and a midnight celebration that includes a fireworks show. Reservations are priced by the bay, rather than by the number of people.   • New Year’s Eve Bash at Mo’s Irish Pub Katy – Countdown to 2019 at Mo’s Irish Pub Katy with tunes by DJ Chocolate, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.  9pm.

  • NYE Show with Mike Zito & Ally Venable at Dosey Doe – Kick off the new year with a performance from blues singer-songwriters and guitarists, Mike Zito and Ally Venable at Dosey Doe in The Woodlands. There will also be dinner served along with a champagne toast and party favors. Tickets range from $98 to $158. 6:30pm.
  • New Year’s Eve Masquerade at The Westin at The Woodlands – Dress to impress and head to The Westin at the Woodlands for their New Year’s Masquerade. The party will feature a live DJ, a photo booth, food action stations, decadent desserts, and a champagne toast at midnight to ring in 2019. Tickets start at $125. 7pm.
