  • Megan Thee Stallion in Concert at Toyota Center | Friday & Saturday – The Houston rap star takes over the Toyota Center stage for back-to-back nights, just days before the late-June drop of her newly announced album, Megan. $100 and up. 7pm.
  • Juneteenth: A Musical Journey Through Eras at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday & Saturday | FREE – This special two-night concert series offers a poignant exploration of Black music’s evolution—and the reflections and impacts of history. Each night features different focuses, from the R&B, gospel and blues of 1960 to 1980, to the rise of hip-hop and beyond from 1980 to 2000. 8pm.
  • Comedian Tommy Davidson at Houston Improv | Friday to Sunday – The actor and comedian, known for the hit show In Living Color, performs five shows across the weekend. The seasoned performer brings the hilarity in dozens of films and TV shows, so get ready for lots of laughs. $54 and up. Times vary.
  • Tokyo X Festival at NRG Center | Saturday & Sunday – The largest Japanese festival in Houston, the two-day Tokyo X Festival takes a dive deep into Japanese culture with an array of attractions, including street foods prepared by local Houston chefs, night markets, a car showcase, anime, cosplay, music, live performances, and more. Saturday $40; Sunday $35. Times vary.

  • Mondays with Molly: Jack Mason Wine Dinner at Navy Blue – Head the acclaimed River Oaks spot for a four-course dinner paired with wines, led by Wine Director and Sommelier Molly Austad. $150. 7pm.
  • Monday Movie Night at Axelrad | No Cover – The weekly outdoor screening night at the neon garden hosts a series of LGBTQ+ films to celebrate Pride Month. This week, they’ll play Hedwig & the Angry Inch, with drink specials like a Prickly Pear margarita for Pride Month. 9pm.

  • Trivia Tuesday: Sports in the ’80s at Post Houston | No Cover – Hit up the food hall of Post Houston for a Tuesday night trivia session, themed for ’80s sports. Scan the QR codes found on screens throughout to get started. 6pm and 7pm.
  • Comedian Connor Wood at Houston Improv – The California comic comes through Spring Branch on his Fibs & Friends Tour, following up a smash success in 2023, where he was named a Comic to Watch at the New York Comedy Festival. $120 for 4, and up. 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

  • Bingo Night at Big Top | FREE – Get into some Bingo and live music, plus bourbon from Milam & Greene at the Mid Main nightlife spot. 7pm.
  • Couples Therapy: A Relationship-Themed Comedy Show at Houston Improv – Perfect for married couples, newlyweds, first dates, and singles, experience a unique, relationship-themed comedy show at Houston Improv. $60 for 4, and up. 7:30pm.
  • Queerlympics at Pearl Bar | FREE – The longtime lesbian bar on Washington Avenue hosts a bi-monthly series that tests the abilities of a two-person team in games like beer pong, cornhole, dildo tosses and other games. Sign-ups start at 8pm. 9pm to midnight.

  • Craft Brew Stroll on 19th Street – Stroll up and down 19th Street in the heart of the Heights and sample beers from multiple breweries, poured up in a signature 19th Street pint glass you can take home. $20. 5pm to 9pm.
  • Flor de Cana Dinner at The Lymbar – Brand Ambassador Luis Baez and guest chef Dominick Lee of Augustine serve up dishes like duck carnitas, pepito Wellinton and more, with each course paired with a different Flor de Cana rum. $98 per person. 6:30pm.
  • Cabs & Dads at Pappas Bros. Steak House – The Galleria steak house location will offer a wine tasting that explores selections from around the world, carefully curated and representing some of the globe’s finest cabernet sauvignons. $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity. 5:30pm to 7pm.
  • So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience at House of Blues – Broadway star and film actor Robert Neary channels Neil Diamond in a striking tribute that’s been pleasing audiences across North America and beyond. $25 and up. 7pm.
  • Martini Theater at DTO: Pride Edition at Daiquiri Time Out | No Cover – Mark Pride month with a weekly series of movie screenings—this week featuring the 2000 film, X-Men—while enjoying drinks and food from Con Lágrimas. 8:30pm to 11:30pm.

  • The Marshall Tucker Band in Concert at Home Run Dugout – The Katy baseball bar hosts the ensemble, known for incorporating blues, country and jazz into an eclectic sound all their own. Helping to create the genre of Southern rock, the band has been performing and cutting records for the last half century. $45. 6:30pm.
  • Noche de Cumbia Festival at Axelrad | FREE – Be part of the biggest cumbia party in town. Head to the Third Ward beer garden for an evening of live music from Sonido Sabotaje, Susobrino, Movimiento Cumbia, and more. Ages 21 and up. 7pm.
  • Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle 20th Anniversary Outdoor Film Party at Asia Society Texas Center – Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the classic stoner comedy, Asia Society Texas hosts an outdoor screening, complete with a Burger-chan take on the White Castle slider, a trivia contest, and complimentary beer, soju and cocktails. $30. 7pm to 10pm.
  • 2nd Annual Juneteenth Comedy Fest at Galveston Convention Center – An all-star lineup headlines this evening of laughs, marking not only the importance of the holiday, but Galveston’s unique role in it. Thea Vidale will be joined by Ben Jackson, Lotto Marie, Craig Bush, Pokey Simmons and many more. $25.99 and up. 7pm to 10pm.
  • Comedian Celeste Barber at 713 Music Hall – The Australian comedian and social media personality comes to Houston as part of her Backup Dancer Tour. With more than seven million Instagram followers, Barber counts Cindy Crawford and Kris Jenner as fans, and is host of the Celeste & Her Best podcast. $41.75 and up. 8pm.
  • ITZY in Concert at Smart Financial Centre – The South Korean girl group, known for energetic tracks and themes of female empowerment, perform live in Sugar Land. Since the debut of their first album in 2019, they’ve garnered fans around the world. $72 and up. 8pm.
  • Biscits DJ Set at Stereo Live – The tech house DJ and producer performs a live set. EDM.com called his “From the Start” single “irresistible,” while The Lowdown Magazine praised his “Me & U” for its “powerful vocal, groovy basslines and a dynamic build.” $14.99. 10pm.

  • Houston Pink Boots Society Beer Fest at Bad Astronaut Brewing – Rescheduled from May, this first annual fest offers a range of Pink Boots collabs with local breweries, plus live music, spray art demos, vendors, delicious food and door prizes. It celebrates the Pink Boots mission to provide scholarships, education and support for women and non-binary members in the fermentation and alcohol industries. $35; $20 for non-drinking tickets. Noon to 5pm.
  • A Wine Walk to Remember at Houston Botanic Garden – Enjoy the beauty of nature and sip wine as you stroll through the South Houston garden. Look for live music, live painting and a Juneteenth educational experience along with three different wines from the Pur Noire portfolio. $45. 6pm.
  • Sunset & Sounds: Summer Concert Series with Matthew Logan Vasquez at Hotel Lucine | No Cover – The rooftop bar overlooking the beach at Galveston’s new boutique hotel will welcome Matthew Logan Vasquez, lead singer-songwriter and guitarist of indie rock group Delta Spirit and a member of indie supergroup Middle Brother. 6pm to 9:30pm.
  • 2nd Annual Juneteenth Sneaker Ball at Moody Gardens Hotel –Join the Galveston Council of Greeks for a premier event celebrating the legacy of Juneteenth on the Island. Patrons will be dressed in their tuxedos and gowns with fashionable sneakers to highlight this signature celebration. $85 and up. 8pm.
  • Os Mutantes in Concert at the Continental Club – Performing since the 1960s, the hugely influential Brazilian rock group arrives for an intimate concert in the heart of Mid Main. $30 and up. 9pm.
  • Grum DJ set at Bauhaus – The Scottish electronic musician and producer has been thrilling audiences since the release of his album, Heartbeats, in 2010. Now, he brings his talents to the downtown EDM venue. $15 and up. 10pm.
  • A Sexy Pride Show at Social Beer Garden | FREE – A slate of fierce drag queens take over the Midtown beer garden with a night of fabulous performances, glamour, laughter and a celebration of love and diversity. Ages 21 and up. 10:30pm.

  • Famous Drag Brunch at Bar Boheme – Head to the patio of Bar Boheme on Fairview for one of the best drag brunches in town. Enjoy delicious eats, a live DJ and fabulous drag performances every Sunday in June. Reservations required; $39 per person, includes access to brunch buffet and show. Brunch runs from 11am to 4:30pm, with two-hour shows at 11:30am and 2:30pm.
  • Steak & Bordeaux Tasting Experience at Mutiny Wine Room – Celebrate Dad’s special day as you sample Chef Eduardo’s new Ribeye for Two including Hasselback potato, tomato and charred spring onion salad, burrata mozzarella, and grilled sourdough focaccia at Mutiny Wine Room. Reservations strongly suggested. $75 for two. 2pm to 9pm.
  • Juneteenth Culture Fest at Avenida Houston | FREE – Along Avenida and into Discovery Green, this Juneteenth celebration offers a full evening of live music, BLCK Market vendors, food trucks, and a fireworks finale to cap off the night. 4pm to 9pm.
