Earth Day Celebration at Tom Bass Regional Park I | Saturday, April 12 | FREE – The Pearland park welcomes families to enjoy food, activities, exhibits, and plenty of fun to celebrate Earth Day. 10am to 4pm.
Green Up Your Act: Earth Day Bash at Children’s Museum Houston | Saturday, April 19 – Held annually since 1970, the Children’s Museum Earth Day parties offers a day of festivities with nature-inspired projects, demonstrations, and experiments. While supplies last, you can also grab a tree sapling in a giveaway by Trees for Houston. $19.95 for ages 1 and up. 9am to 5pm.
Earth Day Celebration at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center | Saturday, April 19 | FREE – The annual celebration returns to the Arboretum tucked away inside Memorial Park, offering interactive booths, crafts, nature hike scavenger hunts, fun displays in the Discovery Room, and more ways to enjoying and support nature. 10am to 2pm.

Earth Day: Planet Party at Powder Keg Pub | Saturday, April 19 | FREE – Bayou City Hangouts brings the community together for a day filled with over 25 vendors, a live DJ, DIY activities, and more at the family- and pet-friendly open-air pub in Spring Branch. Noon to 4pm.
Earth Day Celebration at Discovery Green | Saturday, April 19 | FREE – One of Discovery Green’s signature annual events, the family-friendly festival returns with a full afternoon of interactive exhibits and educational experiences, plus live music, art installations, face painting, crafts, and activities. Noon to 5pm.
Earth Day Celebration at Galveston Island Brewing | Saturday, April 19 | FREE – At the beloved brewery blocks from the beach, you can celebrate Earth Day with a vendor market, live music, community partner activities, and a showing of Dr. Suess’ The Lorax (PG, 2012). Noon to 6pm.
Bloom: Earth Day at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch | Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22 | FREE – Honor the planet with hands-on activities, eco-friendly showcases, a special screening of Dr. Suess’ The Lorax (PG, 2012), and the opportunity to take home one of 150 different tree saplings. 11am to 1pm.
Earth Day at Houston Zoo | Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22 – Be the first to visit the zoo’s new Wildlife Workshop, where guests can collaborate, learn, celebrate, and share wildlife-saving behaviors. Plus, join in Earth Day activities throughout the zoo. Included with admission. 10am to 3pm.
Picnic in the Park: Earth Day at Evelyn’s Park | Saturday, April 26 | FREE – The Bellaire park space celebrates Earth Day and its eighth anniversary with fitness classes, kids’ activities, and treasure hunts around the Move One Place On sculpture. Noon to 4pm.
Houston Plant Swap at Eureka Heights Brewing | Saturday, April 26 | FREE – The monthly plant swap returns to the Heights brewery with free biodegradable seedling pots for you to take home, along with a variety of herb seeds for planting. Swing by and explore more than a dozen vendors, try your hand at plant raffles, and chill with tasty craft brews. Noon to 5pm.
Annual Earth Day Celebration at Armand Bayou Nature Center | Sunday, April 27 – The Pasadena nature preserve hosts an Earth Day event with animal encounters and demonstrations, seed ball making, dip netting, mini Bayou Safari Tours, and more. $10 to $12; Free for ages 3 and under. 10am to 4pm.
