Summer Species: Butterfly Walk at Buffalo Bayou Park

Buffalo Bayou Partnership presents a summer series of monthly nature walks exploring butterflies, the park’s 2024 Summer Species.

Nancy Greig, the retired founding director of the Cockrell Butterfly Center, will lead a 90-minute discovery tour where walkers will learn about local butterfly species, their life cycle and habitat.

The walks cover approximately three miles. Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.

Meet at Jackson Hill Bridge on the Allen Parkway side of the bayou, just east of Flora Restaurant.
