  • Maroon 5 in Concert | Tuesday, February 17 – Scream for Adam, James, Jesse, PJ, Mickey and Matt when The Maroon 5 World Tour 2015 stops at the Toyota Center to promote the bands latest album V. First run tickets are sold out, but limited seats are available on TicketNetwork and Ticket Monster resale sites. 7:30pm.
  • Fat Tuesday Celebrations around Houston | Tuesday, February 17 and Saturday, February 21 – Wrap up the end of Mardi Gras at Fat Tuesday parties around Houston. Prepare to collect a ton of beads at the annual parade in Galveston or head to Royal Oak for beignets, king cake bread budding, boudin burgers and fried crawfish mac & cheese. Keep the celebration going into the weekend at Mardi Gras on Main in Le Porte. Times vary.
  • Carnival | Tuesday, February 17 and Saturday, 21 – Enjoy an evening of Latin food, music and Samba dancing at Carnaval celebrations in Houston. Celebrate with the Corduas at Carnaval at Americas River Oaks or watch living drumming performances during the Brazilian Carnaval at Ayva Center. Prices and times vary.
  • HCP Print Auction | Wednesday, February 18 – Support the Houston Center for Photography at this elegant event. Guests will sip on cocktails, savor a delicious dinner and then bid on photographic art at The Junior League of Houston.   • O’Brien Estates Wine Dinner at Museum Park Cafe | Wednesday, February 18 – Enjoy a five-course meal paired with wines from O’Brien Estates during this special dinner at Museum Park Cafe. The Napa Valley winery produces a limited number of bottles and sells them exclusively at their vineyard. The menu, crafted by Executive Chef Jason White, includes dishes like lamb bolognese, roasted Texas quail and New York strip, and will be paired with exclusive wines from O’Brien Estates. $125 per person. 7pm.
  • Texas Yoga Conference | Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22 – The 6th annual Texas Yoga Conference, hosted at ISKCON Houston, is a three-day event featuring classes and lectures from some of the best yoga teachers and motivational speakers around. Guests are invited to participate in yoga classes at all levels, enjoy musical performances and inspirational presentations. $350 weekend pass; $108 Friday pass; $199 Saturday pass; $129 Sunday pass. 3pm to 9pm Friday; 9:30am to 7pm Saturday; 9:30am to 3pm Sunday.
  • Jonathan Biss in Concert | Friday, February 20 – Enjoy a performance from award-winning pianist Jonathan Biss at Stude Concert Hall. $30 to $65; limited discounted $15 to $32.50 tickets available. 8pm.
  • Fashion Truck Festival | Saturday, February 21 – Seven fashion trucks are setting up at Liberty Station for a full day of shopping. Trucks include Shoe Bar Houston, Suburban Girl Gifts, Misc. A Mobile Store, A Hippy Heart, Urban Izzy, Height of Vintage and Sweet Baby Pearl’s Eco Emporium. Snack on bites from a food truck and treats from Dixie Desserts while enjoying music from a live DJ. Create your own indoor container garden at the DIY terrarium workshop from Pop Shop Houston. Noon to 6pm.
  • Galveston Sea Turtle Saturday | Saturday, February 21 – Learn all about the Kemp’s ridley sea turtle as their nesting season approaches. This program will share information on you on how you can help preserve this extremely endangered species. Activities and presentations for the whole family will include a tour of the NOAA sea turtle center where over 350 turtles are housed. $10 adults 14 and older. The kid’s session is currently sold out, but you can call 409-789-8125 to be added to the waitlist. 8:30am to 1pm.
  • Lunar New Year 2015 | Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22 – Celebrate the year of the goat with food, dance and cultural performances at events around Houston including the Texas Lunar Festival and Lunar New Year Houston.
