Toast the new Yellow Rose Distillery near Uptown with whiskey or vodka made onsite at a free grand opening party on Saturday, September 20, 2014.
Upon opening, the Yellow Rose Distillery will be the very first legal distillery to grace Houston’s city limits. To celebrate, the Yellow Rose team has invited Houstonians to an open house preview and check out the brand new facility and sample its products.
The 10,000-square-foot facility includes a tasting room and is located near Uptown and Memorial Park, just north of Interstate 10. Founded in 2010, Yellow Rose Distilling locally produces four award-winning varieties of whiskey and recently launched a vodka.
Live music from The Slags plus food truck vendors including The Golden Grill and Lavar Robinson’s Reigns Food Truck.
If you can’t make the event, the distillery will be open for public tours every Thursday and Friday from 4pm to 7pm and on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.
