- Houston Restaurant Weeks Around Greater Houston | Daily | Final Days – The annual summer tradition wraps up its 21st year after Labor Day. But there’s still time to take advantage of multi-course, prix-fixe menus for brunch, lunch and dinner at nearly 400 restaurants across the metro area while benefiting Houston Food Bank. $25 brunch and lunch menus; $39 or $55 dinner menus.
- Houston Craft Beer Month 2024 Around Greater Houston | Daily | Final Days – Now in its second year, Houston Craft Beer Month sees 14 of the region’s most prominent breweries offering $25 packages that include beer, tastings, merch, and more. Plus, a portion of all proceeds also go to support Houston Food Bank. $25. Package options and venue hours vary by brewery.
- Ice House Radio at Brasil | Wednesday to Friday | FREE – Close out the week with three straight nights of live radio broadcasts from a deep roster of Houston DJs spinning their favorites on the back patio of Brasil in Montrose. 7pm to 11pm.
- Comedian Aries Spears at Houston Improv | Friday to Sunday – Best known for his appearances on MAD TV, movies like Jerry Maguire, and the talk show circuit, the comic performs live at the Spring Branch laugh house. $70 for 2, and up. Times vary.
- Galveston Island Wine Festival at Moody Gardens | Friday to Sunday – Held at the Moody Gardens pyramids, this event features three nights of food and drink highlighted by an extravagant seafood dinner from seven top-tier chefs, a wine tasting in the Aquarium Pyramid, and a seated Bourbon dinner inside the hotel. All events included with a hotel stay; individual events start at $150. Times vary.

- Luke Bower in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – The South Texas-raised singer-songwriter brings his organic sound, gritty vocals, and soul-deep songs to WOMH’s upstairs stage. 7pm.
- Ice Spice in Concert at Bayou Music Center – Hip-hop superstar Ice Spice’s ‘Y2K! World Tour stops at Bayou Music Center after outgrowing the originally scheduled 713 Music Hall.$75.50, but you may be able find hard-to-get tickets on the online resale marketplace. 8pm.

- Shenseea in Concert at House of Blues – The Afro-Asian Jamaican dancehall and pop singer lands at House of Blues in support of her sophomore release, Never Gets Late Here, at the Downtown stage. $32.50 and up. 7pm.

- Juan Gabriel: Eterno Tribute at Axelrad | FREE – Pay tribute to the legendary Mexican singer with a special music performance and vendor market. All ages till 8:30pm; 21+ after. 7pm.
- Transcending Borders: The Ramayana Project at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – This production of dance and music from Asia Society Texas brings the sounds of Vietnamese, Khmer, Thai, Lao and Burmese communities together, sharing in the pains and struggles of those separated from their homeland. 8pm.
- The Monicas: Go To The Movies Tribute at Dan Electro’s – It’s going to be a total blast as this ’90s cover band takes over the stage with hits back from classic movie soundtracks. $10 and up. 8pm.
- Fantastic Negrito in Concert at The Heights Theater – Spend the night listening to songs from the new album, White Jesus Black Problems, which serves as an ode to the power of family and resilience. $24 and up. 8pm.

- AJ Vallejo’s Brodie Lane in Concert at The Continental Club – Formed during the pandemic, by Austin music mainstay AJ Vallejo, Brodie Land bring their self-proclaimed “Hot Dirt Music”—a mix of roots-rock, alt country and southern rock to the Midtown stage. - The New Beat Grand Opening at Henke & Pillot – Relocated from its former home at the now shuttered Etro, the New Beat debuts a few blocks away with the ultimate ’80s night club music mix from VJ Rob. Rob, who also spun for the New Beat at Etro, will be joined by guest DJ Blake Davidson. 9pm.
- Bewitched & Underworld: Pleasuredome at Numbers Nightclub – Numbers hosts a techno acid EBM industrial rave, complete with nine live DJ performances, a vendor market, and more in Montrose. 9pm.

- Labor Day Drone Show in Downtown Galveston | FREE – See 300 drones light up the sky over Saengerfest Park in historic Downtown Galveston, with pre-show entertainment in the park. 7:30pm; 12-minute drone show starts at dusk around 8:30pm.
- Blk Odyssy in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Austin-based singer-songwriter, Sam Houston brings an R&B sound that he describes as a blend of influences like Kendrick Lamar, D’Angelo, Outkast, and Funkadelic. Starts at $25. 7pm.
- Kikuo in Concert at Home Run Dugout – Japanese songwriter and Vocaloid producer comes to the stage for this live set. All ages. $40 and up. 8pm.

- The Distillery Comedy Tour at William Price Distilling Company – It’s a night of laughter and fun with some of some of the funniest comedians in the country at the distillery’s eleventh anniversary celebration. $15-$20. 9pm.
