Experience the stirring grito and a rousing performance celebrating Mexico’s colorful culture with El Grito at Miller, happening at Miller Outdoor Theatre on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 7:30pm.

Featuring Caña Dulce y Caña Brava, the free family-friendly performance exhibits the music, poetry, dance and traditional attire of Veracruz, Mexico. The artists themselves are part of the jarocho culture with years of experience on both international stages in Mexico and across the world.

The group highlights feminine poetry and voices, creating an experience that connects audiences with distinct emotions.

Viewers are taken on voyage through multiple rhythms, accompanied by traditional string instruments such as the harp and the jarana, percussion and zapateado, accompanied by poetic improvisation in rhyme and the projection of visual effects.

As always, all shows and performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are completely free.
