Savor some of the best tequilas and mezcals Houston and Mexico have to offer at the inaugural HTown Agave Festival happening on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Timed to kick off to Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day, the brand new outdoor festival from Arnaldo Richards’ Picos Restaurant also coincides with the restaurant’s yearlong 40th anniversary celebration.
Guests will be able to sample fine tequilas and mezcals from 15+ different specialty vendors a tasting booths around the festival.
Each ticket includes 10 ticket stubs for agave spirit samples of your choosing.
Accompanied by festive music from DJ Big Reeks, guests can also win festival swag during giveaways and enjoy specialty agave cocktails and festival food—including tacos, nachos, elote bowls—available for purchase.
Picos’ Agave Pedigree
Given that Picos has one of the largest agave selections in Texas as was named by Food & Wine magazine as one of the “15 Best Tequila Places to Drink Tequila Around the U.S.”, the restaurant is the natural organizer and host for this savory agave sampling event.
Tequila aficionados have also long known that Picos also sells a specialty Picos cask of tequila and that private tequila lockers available to guests.
