Enjoy a feast at a hilarious and delicious two night pop-up from Kenny & Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Returning after two sold-out nights last August, if you missed Ziggy’s Roumanian Steak House the first time around consider yourself warned not to miss out.

For two nights, deli man Ziggy Gruber will once again turn his restaurant’s Schmooze Room into Houston’s very own version of Sammy’s Roumanian Steakhouse in New York’s Lower East Side. The truly fun experience comes complete with the same wonderfully terrible entertainment that keeps the New York restaurant laughing, with Israeli singer, comedian, musician Dani Luv’s unique brand of rapid-fire humor at the helm.

But it’s not just the laughs and fun Bar Mitzvah-like atmosphere that will keep you in good spirits, the multi-course, family-style feast will too. Each table of four will choose two items from each course (six people may choose three items, eight people may choose four, or extra items can be ordered for an additional cost).

Feed your body and soul with appetizers such as table-side prepared chopped liver; stuffed kishka; or super garlicky Romanian karnatzlack. Main course items include Old-World dishes like the bigger than the plate prime tenderloin steak with fried onions; breaded chicken schnitzel; slow roasted spring chicken; beef goulash; and grilled salmon.

There will also be a choice of four sides with dinner and a dessert – make your own egg creams and Kenny & Ziggy’s famous rugglach. Be on the look out for specialty cocktails and shots made with Klir Red Fermented Vodka frozen in blocks of ice.

This is sure to be a night to remember.
