Over the last several months, Houston has seen dozens of local vendors and farmers markets spring up across the city, offering everyone a chance to shop local and support small businesses in H-Town.

Pop-Up Markets in Houston: November 2021
Many of these markets continue to adapt to evolving health and safety precautions, so be sure to check with the organizer before attending for their policy on things like face masks, social distancing, or whether it allows cash transactions.
- Fall Fest & Artisan Market at B-52 Brewing | Saturday, November 6 | No Cover – Browse 70+ artisan vendors, take in live music from multiple bands, nosh on bites from three food trucks, join in fall games, and toss back cold brews in B-52’s hidden pine forest. Market noon to 6pm; festival until 10pm.
- The Pancakes & Booze Art Show at Warehouse Live | Saturday, November 6 – Forget your usual late night breakfast spots and head to EaDo, where you can check out the works of 100+ emerging artists, sip cocktails and indulge a full pancake bar. $10 in advance; $15 at the door. 8pm to 2am.
- Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market at NRG Center | Thursday, November 11 to Sunday, November 14 – Knock out your holiday shopping at one of Houston’s largest shopping events. Stroll through the endless aisles filled with merchants selling goodies and gifts for the holiday season. Tickets are $18 in advance on Ticketmaster or at H-E-B Business Centers; $20 at the door. Times vary.
- Night Market 2021 at Asia Society Texas | Friday, November 12 | FREE – This festive night market will feature 40+ local AAPI-owned restaurants and small businesses, celebrating the vibrant diversity of Houston’s Asian American communities. Expect games and activities for all ages, K-Pop performances, free after-hours exhibitions, and a variety of food trucks and local artisan vendors. This year’s event will also launch ASTX’s Unity Wall, an interactive installation that invites guests to write down what they can do to build a more inclusive society. Free to attend; wristbands for the beer garden are $20. 6pm to 10pm.
- Post Houston Grand Opening & Flea Market | Saturday, November 13 | FREE – The spacious former post office on the edge of Downtown finally opens to the public with an all-day big bash that features an outdoor market, plus headlining musicians, food, curated art exhibits, and more. General admission is free; $100 for VIP. 11am to midnight.
- Inaugural Outdoor Fall Ball & Night Market at Curb Market Montrose | Saturday, November 13 | FREE – The corner of Montrose Boulevard and Westheimer welcomes back the Curb Market for a special night of fall ball festivities, including live music, local vendors, artisans and carnival games. 6pm to 11pm.
- Home for the Holidays Gift Market at Katy Merrell Center | Friday, November 19 to Sunday, November 21 – More than 150 vendors will be on display at this holiday market that showcases fall and Christmas shopping, decor and unique, hand-crafted goods from local and small businesses. Plus, enjoy food trucks, door prizes, and snap a photo with Santa. $6 for most of the weekend; $10 for first-call shopping on Friday morning. Friday and Saturday 10am to 6pm; Sunday 11am to 4pm.
- Umami Fest & Night Market at Aveva Stadium | Saturday, November 20 | FREE – In South Houston, the rugby stadium gets a new look for a flavorful night of street food that includes boba tea, Korean BBQ, Vietnamese dishes, tacos, sweet treats and more. Plus, browse through dozens of small business tents, enjoy games, win prizes, and check out the show cars on display. 4pm to 11pm.
- Memorial City Thanksgiving Fest & Market on Gessner Road | Sunday, November 21 | FREE – Memorial City hosts the free Memorial City Thanksgiving Fest & Market at the corner of Gessner Road and Mathewson Lane, featuring food trucks, kids treats, live music, and more. Memorial City will also be collecting donations for a Thanksgiving Food Drive benefiting Kids’ Meals. Everyone who donates will be entered into a drawing for a take-home Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings from State Fare, and tickets to The Elf on a Shelf – The Christmas Musical at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on Thursday, December 9, 2021. 10am to 2pm.
- Black Friday Holiday Flea at M-K-T in the Heights | Friday, November 26 to Sunday, November 28 | No Cover – Ditch the crowds at big box retailers and opt for some Black Friday shopping from more than 75 local vendors and artisans doling out leather goods, handmade jewelry, gourmet foods, home decor and more. 10am to 5pm daily.
- BLCK Market presents BLCK Friday at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum | Friday, November 26 – Back for a third time, the annual BLCK Friday event from BLCK Market gathers an extra dose of Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs for a super-sized retail experience from one of the city’s most established markets. A limited run of free admission is available; $5 after that. 1pm to 5pm.
