Menu prices and hours vary per restaurant.
- Hermann Park presents “Why & How to Garden for Wildlife in Your Own Backyard” on Zoom & Facebook Live | Monday, November 30 | FREE – Learn how to create a wildlife garden at your own home during Hermann Park’s virtual hour-long exploration of how neighborhood yards can be both beautiful and beneficial to the wide range of wildlife in our communities. 6pm to 7pm.
- AIDS Foundation Houston’s World AIDS Day 2020: A Virtual Experience | Tuesday, December 1 – Just in time for Giving Tuesday, Houstonians can take part in a virtual edition of the annual World AIDS Day event with an evening of performances featuring America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Christina Wells, iconic Houston drag superstar Dessie Love-Blake, and emceed by Houston Public Media’s Ernie Manouse. $5. 6pm to 7pm.
- UniverSoul Circus at Sam Houston Race Park | Tuesday, December 1 through Sunday, December 6 – Celebrate urban pop cultures from around the world at this all-ages show that blends circus arts, theater and music. $22, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. Showtimes vary.
- Skate with Santa! at The Ice at Discovery Green | Thursday, December 3 – Get into the holiday spirit while skating with Santa Claus for an hour on The Ice at Discovery Green. Tickets are $15 per person (including skate rental) and must be purchased in advance. Skating from 5pm to 10pm; Santa will be on The Ice from 7pm to 8pm.
- Comedian Russell Peters at Houston Improv | Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6 – Crack up at the hilarious observations of stand-up comedian, actor, and Peabody Award-winning producer Russell Peters, who presents his stand-up set for three nights at Houston Improv. For the Sunday shows, he’ll be joined by an added line-up of comics for a taping of a new comedy special Russell Peters and Friends. Tickets start at $80 for two people. Showtimes vary.
- Holiday in the Park at Market Square Park in Downtown | Saturday, December 5 | FREE – Experience an outdoor holiday market filled with goods from more than 30 local vendors, as well as winter crafting, photo booths, live music and more. 11am to 5pm.
- 101st Mayor’s Holiday Spectacular on ABC 13 | Saturday, December 5 – Witness the bright lights of Houston during a reimagined 90-minute local hometown variety show that celebrates the holidays in Houston with appearances by Mayor Sylvester Turner, Robert Glasper, Laci Kaye Booth, DCappella, Ledisi, Santa Claus, Houston Ballet, Dance of Asian America, International Voices, and more. No in-person attendance. 6:30pm to 8pm.
- The Riot Comedy Show presents Daryl Felsberg at Rudyard’s | Saturday, December 5 – Laugh out loud at a socially-distanced standup comedy show from larger-than-life comic Daryl Felsberg, known for his well crafted and completely improvised streams of consciousness alike. $20 to $80 for a table. 8pm.
- Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium | Sunday, December 6 – Watch the Houston Texans face division rivals from Indianapolis, live from NRG Stadium and broadcast on CBS and local radio. Limited tickets for in-person attendance have been released and are expected to sell out. Tickets start at $60, but you may find better, cheaper, or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. Noon.
